im using this mobile from 3 months. This is the best mobile with great features in this price range. Previously i have used nokia c2-01, it dint gave nice battery backup when use 3G. So i have bought cedar and im totally satisfied with this. Cedar rocks....

im using cedar from 3 months. This is best mobile in this price range. Previously i have used nokia C2-01, but not satisfied with battery capacity. Cedar battery will lost 2-3 with avg usage. Apart from battery it has more features than C2-01. I will rate this mobile 10/10.

unlimited message storage (uptill memory runs out of phone and card)...
album art supported....
flac files are not supported...
modified audio acoustics also cant save its cause of audio quality as it does not have a dedicated audio chip like wave 2 or 5320.....

has anybody purchased Sony Ericsson cedar in august or september 2011???
and got the mh-410 earphones???? i think i am cheated by not getting mh-610 earphones in the box as i paid 4500inr...... please tell guys......
and lastly
about the mobile....
very good speeds in internet surfing
audio okay nothing special to talk....especially when compared to my nokia 5320 or the samsung wave 2 s8530...
call quality is fine
build quality is not very good like nokia 5320 or samsung wave 2..
battery life 2 days with moderate use....
earphones quality(i got mh-410)is like the nokia provides in 5320 (HS-45)
modding department is cool
java applications running in background makes the phone a bit laggy and dulls its response.
camera is ok at the price segment.
the aluminium d-pad makes the thumb pain if used for internet surfing for long periods.
themes stored in memory card makes the mobile slow compared to ones stored in phone memory.
i am happy by purchasing this instead of nokia x2 or c2-02,c2-06,x2-01 because this is my first sony ericsson phone and its OS interface is new and refreshing for me who has used nokia's symbian since its series 40 series phones first came in market....

In gsmarena the bench mark ratings for the best phone in range is 8.1.
I'd say cedar is the galaxy s2 in its range.
Defenitely deserves a rating above 8.4.
So cedar owners, vote for cedar.

Do this atleast thrice a day.
For 7 votes with 8+ rating can be neutralised by a single 1 rating vote by the ones who are bringing it down.
Defenitely nokia-fanboys I guess.
X2 and c2-01 to be specific, they got ratings at 7.1 and 6.9.

its head set volume,clarity,and bass are superb...
but its back speaker vol was little low. but the thing is u can modd cedar...and its msg capacity was un limited. Very good phone with smart phone features in this price range. Don't hesitate, go for it, u will never regret...

If yu choose cafe to update. Then make sure that its fast as possible.
Better update via SEUS in friends home.
I too dont have PC.
And update mine in my frnd hme.
Mine tuk 3hrs to update. Coz of poor net speed.

By the way,i have a plan to update my cedar but i'm afraid of some interruption like power failure or if the pc shuts down,if these things happen will my cedar freezes and be dead or no effects at all? Since we have no pc then I will just rely on public internet cafe.

Who said that its storage capacity is 500!
WTFG!
Yu can store unlimited msgs in cedar.
Now there is 3066 msgs in inbox and 2584 in sent itms.
It support album art.
Yu can mod it too.

xxx, 16 Sep 2011have you tried some power saving on your phone? I felt same... moreMy brightness is 50%, and also I use only 2G network. And my bluetooth is disabled when not in need. My widget is also disable. But my battery only last 8-10 hours of heavy usage, while 15-20 hours when in normal usage.
