Bluetooth is with edr technology. (Dont rely over one site for full info)
15.5mm is at the thickest point and the slimmest is at 10mm. Damn good to hold in hand and put into pocket unlike your flattened soapbox style moto and htc.
Yes video call using back camera.
It got universal 3.5mm port so all headsets are a go and dont have to buy se. Besides the stock one costs 1k in inr and its of the best quality.
Geo tagging using cell-triangulation. Besides there is no gps model under 6k and no geo-tag phone too other than cedar..
And who in earth told you cedar's processor is slow? None who has used any other feature-phone would say cedar is slow, (atleast in planet earth) LOL.
And about htc and moto, I really hate phones that need to be charged every evening,..
Pay those pages a visit too and search opinions for 'battery'.
I really recommend wildfire and s.
I need to modify my phone as I wish, change its soft keys, cam driver and audio driver to the sounds and convenience I prefer, besides excepting multitask and a 2 day with 5hr internet battery too. List me one moto and htc with all those.
And at present no 'cedar owner' and 'going to be owner' can afford 10k to get one of those,
So on behalf of all of us I ask you to mail every one atleast a 5 grand - I prefer in rupees, credit or debit cards too are welcomed. Lol.

And the default netfront browser is good in certain cases. For eg. It supports flash content, like time counting in free file hosting websites like 4shared, rapid share.... Whereas other java browser doesnt. Making it the only phone with flash support upto an extent among feature-phones.
And the default browser minimise, clocksize adjust and 'more of the same' option in walkman player, customise-upgrade is out in se-nse forum db3350 driver.
Check that too, i'm using it, its good.
And out of curiousity , did the gingerbread in mini allow it to play vga videos? Or is it limited to qvga like other samsung and nok feature phones since the mini got qvga recording.

I recently purchased Cedar on Id at Rs 4300(My budget was Rs 4000 max.) from New Delhi after reading your expert comments. I was glad that I have a phone that has some good reviews and I was feeling like a proud owner of Cedar, but when I used this phone I found that its music capabilities were mediocre, (it has severe distortion issues and crackling sound issues) and I was regretting why I trusted you people and feel cheated.
I am a music lover and previously I owned Nokia 6230i and Nokia 6233 (which has a excellent speaker) and now I also own Samsung Galaxy Mini whose music quality is excellent.
Again I started reading you people's comments thoroughly and thought that how so much people could be wrong. I found that my software version was older R7DA052, then I updated it to newer version R7EA011. I found that all the distortions and crackling sounds were gone and music was now better (in mega bass also). But again I was not satisfied as I was comparing it to my Samsung Galaxy Mini music quality.
So, I started modding my phone (I was a little hesitant though in beginning, because never done such kind of thing with a phone.) I checked with two acoustics 1. Yendo's modified acoustics and 2.Anshubham's final Acoustics (Not tried Sree's Acoustics because reviews are not very good). I found that Anshubham's acoustics are way good having a louder and 99% distortion free sound and has a good bass, mids and highs. Now I could compare it to my Samsung Galaxy Mini for music capabilities. Now listening music on Cedar is a good experience, its MH610 headset is good (earlier I was thinking of changing it) but now not needed since the culprit were drivers not hardware.
I also updated my cam driver now pictures are of bigger size (In MB's).
People who are hesitant in modding Cedar, just spend one hour on internet and you are ready to go, its so simple.
Also, Internet Connection do not require any softwares (PC companion), just activate internet on the phone and go to Settings-Connectivity-USB-Advanced-Internet Access and enable Internet Via Phone option, so simple, just like my Samsung Android Tethering option.
Now I am a proud owner of Cedar. Final Verdict:
Pros-
1. Good Video Playback
2. Good Music Capabilities
3. Easy Internet Connectivity via USB for PC.
4. 3.5 G enabled
5. Video Calling (Though no front camera, so you have to rely on your main backside camera)
6. Good battery backup (Heavy usage : 1 - 1.5 days, Average User 2-3 days).
7. USB charging
8. 3.5 mm Audio Jack
9. Micro SD card supported (very rare in Sony phones but common among other phones and very cheaper.)
10. Good Call Quality and Signal Reception.
Cons:
Not many for Rs 4300 phone:
1. No front camera for video calling
2. Inbuilt internet browser not good (although not tried, but reviews are not good, so I will try Opera)
3. Smaller Screen 2.2 inches (Kidding, Cannot ask more for a low budget phone)
Now a Proud owner of Cedar.........Cedar Rocks.........!!!!

my cedar sometimes does not names in call list or message boxes ( inbox , sent ) instead it shows phone numbers .
If I restart , name comes back .
Is this a software problem ?
I have more than 10 games installed . Will this affect software ?

Cedar looks brighter and more intelligent with 3.5g at hsdpa 7.2mbps hsupa 2.5mbps, vga playback, nhd playback, hvga playback, practically unlimited call log, multitasking, 5233 like camera, 'customisable in every way' os, unlimited java size, unlimited heap, unlimited message memory and qvga rec at 24fps mp4 with max 1.4mbps video bitrate.
I think you are right, better to focus on the future and in this world of 4g, its good to have a 3.5g and be normal, than have a 3.6mbps slowest 3g phone with no multitask and no hq and no unlimited java size handset.

Cedar cant record fm radio. am I wright ? bluetooth is without EDR technology .too much thick as 16 mm .autofocus is un available ok ! but no flash light as simple LED ?video calling without front camera !? SE headset(both bluetooth and normal ) are very expensive and rear .GEO tagging feature but haven't GPS ? very funny .bigger java files but processor speed is very slow ?Its a cheap handset .I recommend you for HTC or Motorola .because they are good quality and also affordable (if you pay some more moneys ) .if you are thinking deference so you can replay .
