i bought this mobile 2 days bfore its battery backup is very low...... its consuming a hug percent battery i did evrychange that i can 2 reduce battery consumption bt no use.......... can any 1 suggest me abt dis problm plz..???

how to change the flash menu of cedar.
the Flash Menus -> TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/DESKTOP/FLASH
location is not available in cedar

GKP, 01 Sep 2011I am having Cedar Only nt Pc / Lap..Just a half hour in a pc is more than enough.
You can change the acoustics.
But Sad thing is a pc is a must for that.

And right now its down to 8.1, 8.1, 8.2 with 5940 votes.
Sure some fanboys are trying to bring it below 8.0.
So vote for cedar. Its the best in range.

i personally prefer not to change accoustic.
and this is for all the newbie who fear to change accoustic, try my tips, buy a portable speaker, its really cheap, but choose the speaker with li-ion battery and rechargeable via usb

Acoustics are the sound drivers of a ph.
The speaker that attached in our Cedar is capable for producing loud sound as sony ericsson W200 model.
Well., hear the FM radio in loudspeaker mode in Cedar.
Its loud than the mp3 player.
This is because.,
Cedar is a greenheart ph.
So Sony ericsson is make a limit for the sound output in handset to reduce noise pollution.
Even the speakers are capable to produce loud sound., SE decreases the sound using certain audio drivers.
But the highlighted matter is.,
We can change those audio drivers(Acoustics) by other acoustics.
Now I had change my original audio driver with Yendo's acoustic. So I can get some loud sound.
To change yur audio driver, yu need a software called farmanager and gordors gate.
Here is the complete tutorial., whch xplains yu., how to use farmanager to access yur system file.

Cedar got a comparatively large speaker, but being a greenheart phone, its audio driver is adjusted to produce low volume and lower noise pollution.
We replace that file with more capable ones for increased sound.
I have wrote the complete procedure in my earlier post.
And you can find the link for best acoustics for cedar (yendo's modified farfield) few posts ago, last page, posted by YB.
2.Its not rating, its daily interest thats down, ramzan holidays.
Cedar is the only phone with a rating above 8.1 in this entire range. It was 8.3 for past many months, but some fanboys de-voted it.

i am so happy with my cedar and i prefer not to modif it in any way even the easyest like drop the flash menu themes.
I know i can do it but i prefer not to do that coz it contain big risk (i don't wanna give the risk to this beauty coz i really love it).
If u want better sound, buy a portable speaker, thank u.
But 4 u all who want to know the tasted of modif, u will feel excited, i know that feeling, i change my k530 to w660 even wiht patch, so i can change the signal and battery logo, listen to radio without headset and change flash menu or accoustic right from mobile phone.
My word is: this is ur life, u have all the freedom to choose.
But of course every choice has the own consequences :-)

THANK U YB for info mobile apps.
I am not setting my cedar with accoustic, flash menu, cam driver, etc, coz i allready done that with my k530i convert to w660, even i can patch it.
For the newbie who want to modif cedar, listen to my words, u have to be patient in read all the tutorial, u need hours, day by day to complety understand the way or else u will be regret.
U need full curiosity.
I myself prefer to my cedar.
Thank u and i have a tips to own very cool flash wallpaper (.swf file).
First, download the nokia c2-01 theme from zedge (.nth file)
Second, open mini commander 4.0 or the latest, click at .nth file select only the .swf file, which is flash wallpaper and then exctract.
Third, delete .nth file, u don't need nokia C2-01 theme, u only want the flash wallpaper, hehehe thank u

cedar not in review of gsmarena, but this is the best phone in it's price range.
I am pretty sure about it with all my heart.
Thanks cedar for giving me 2days battery life in gsm only mode even if u often surf the net and listen to music for hours.
Thanks for universal 3,5mm audio jack so i can connect it to angel portable speaker.
And thanks 4 multitasking, i can listen to SOMA FM digitalis in Virtual Radio while writing this via Opera Mini.
This set can change ur life.
This is as good as real Cedar tree.

I havent used it until recently I enabled minimising the browser.
Its painfully slow in 2g too.
I still use opera or u.c if I can.
