whenever i am in my house it doesn't detect 3G,it only detects 3G when outside.is it my phone only or what? Please help

buddies, Have You installed the usb driver for cedar in your computer?

If not its available in this link, before the far manager tutorial section. Step 1.

And also if you havent, try plugging to a different usb port..

For the flash menu to work you have to paste the .swf menu file into the phones system folder, that too using far manager.

They had to be dragged and dropped to
tpa-preset-system-desktop-flash.

The SAR of SE-Cedar is 1.08. I think its higher than the adivisable level of 0.5. Do you guys think its ok to go for this fone? I am looking for a bar fone with good basic functions like 3G enabled, music, video etc. Please suggest any other model. Thanks

me too tried to connect my phone to far manager by pressing C key(Mobile).. but far manager was not detecting my phonee... cant able to change acoustics.. after sometimes phone gets ON,when connected to FAR Manager..
Tried lot more times.. got irritated tooooo.......
I have no othr way,hav to adjust tat cracking sound in MEGABASS mode.. :(

Stil i dosent change d acoustics.
I cant conectd to farmanager.
Tried millions of time and get irritated.

Swtch of d ph and cntd to far manager by presing clear key in ph., but noting pops up.
Updated d ph. But stl d prblm exists.
But adapted to d original sound of cedar dude.

About the totalcmd thing.
I wasnt sure that works, It was a try only.
May be u should try just changing the midlet name and not version.
It used to work when done through ubuntu.

Have you changd the acoustics buddy?

Daisy, 16 Aug 2011Fellow Cedarians, pls how can i free my memory card/handset... moreConnect the phone to your pc/ laptop with a data cable - connect it as usb mass storage and do virus scan using your antivirus software on your computer. Your phone's system/ software is not affected by the virus, only the memory card that could be infected by virus.

Antivirus application isn't really necessary to be installed in this phone, most viruses are designed to attack the most popular operating system - Microsoft OS. So the best antivirus apps to handle this are the ones that you have in your (Windows) pc/ laptop.

Regarding to your memory card problem, there is also a possibility that it contains some bad sectors or broken clusters that could be happened if the phone gets overheat (low quality sd card) Formating the card might solve this problem, but better to use a new one.

Fellow Cedarians, pls how can i free my memory card/handset of viruses? At the moment, i can't use memory card on my set because of my files being corrupted after download. Also, i read that Virus only affect symbian phones, but cedar is not. Pls what is the best free antivirus application for cedar and the download link if possible. Also, i tried to install latest firmware on my cedar after downloading update service application. After the whole process, the same software version, 1239-0125 R7DA011-100215 still remain without any functional changes. What's the solution pls.Experts in the house, kindly help a friend in need.

D background wil b change., not d icons.
But notn is imposible in our Cedar:-)
Yu can change yur icons style using farmanager.

I had used d total commander
on UC 7.7.
But no such files with d
extension .xml.
But i had seen smethng like.,
version, midlet name etc.. In
MANIFEST.MF
File inside META-INF Folder. And
I edit d version
and midlet name..
Then copied to ph and instal.
But operation failed.
Do yu hav any idea on dis

I bought cedar few days back. you know what camer quality is verty bad. not upto the maek and battery life is low too. bur overall I will give 7.5 out of 10
