Any virus file that runs in s40 phones are considerd as unknown file type.
No need of antivirus.
The f-secure trial is part of a contract between ericsson and the developer.

If its higher 'cannot play this video'
There is a video codec and an audio codec other than the file extension.
Some times the video codec is Avc or xvid or divx even if the file name is .mp4.
And phone plays only h264 and mp4 video codec.
Check those.

its good but it cant access internet on pc while coneccted.but in the hand it is excellent,if it is having flash on camera its keka.

had this phone a few days and i have to say it is absolutely brilliant! neat design, uncomplicated layout and amazing features for such a budget priced handset. i have previously gone for the different or out of the ordinary or unusual handsets with mixed results & opinions. with very poor signal & other issues, i went for a brand that is universally known, what an inspired choice, full signal, no issues at all with my cedar, already a favourite of mine, plus no need to pay a fortune for pure quality, the camera is only 2mp, so what, it's performance is great, if i wanted a top camera i'd buy one, everything about this phone is excellent. for under £40 it's a steel. f/b,e-bay, you tube, e-mail etc all in a click. love it. not a smartphone but a smart phone and it's green too, so kind to the environment. all you ever need in a phone.

Is Antivirus required for cedar ?
As it is a java based phone , will it get infected ?
If yes , do u know any free antivirus ?
The F-secure that comes preloaded with cedar is trial version only ...

Friends.. Please Help me.. In my Cedar, i cannot login to TWITTER ... It always fails to login stating that incorrect username/password. I even tried master reset. Has any1 felt this problem??? PLZ HELP SINCE I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT TWITTER!

Hey all Cedarians.
I want to tell u an incidence so that u dnt let it happen wid urselves. A frnd of mine was exploring my fone's handsfree & he accidentally pierced the thin black film ( observe it in yours) of it and nw the music thru it is AWWWFUL wid atleast 40% decrease in bass thumps & vocals will pinch your ears badly. So never try to 'explore' ur handsfree, atleast.

but i did not faced such type of problem
i have played upto 500mb mp4 files on this mobile without any interruption
i think you should reset the phone,may be any virus in your phone but even then the problem does not solve then go to nearest sony ericsson service centre.
