8-9 hrs of charging is required at d first time of charging. This is coz to make yur battry to acpt d frequent current flow inside it. We tend to make our batry to familier with voltages:)
8 to 9hr charging at first time is seriously suggested by SE official website too. Chk out.

The battery will start to discharge a little after it is ... moreyou right about what you said m8 ive thought about that after it fully charges even if the charger is on its not acually charging its just plug in and when i take the charger of it say take charger of to save battery power something like that i did see it 1-2 time at 100% but that when im next to the phone while charging and it need around 1-2 hour only not 8-9 hour like it was mentiond by the other person before

! The battery will start to discharge a little after it is fully charged and then charges again after a certain time. This is to extend battery life and may result in the charge status showing a level below 100 percent. (according to Sony Ericsson)
*From my observation: when charging the battery without turning-off the phone, the screen will glow for few seconds at the time it's fully charged. Do not believe what you read as battery/phone status coz sometimes I found it a bit inaccurate. Charging the battery for 8-9 hours? It's useless (at least to me), as I wrote at the top of this letter it'll stop charging after the battery is full. hehehe!

I bought cedar last 15.7.11,on firstday it plays youtube easily,i use smart 2g sim which enables and shows 3g but from next day youtube not working,shows vedio inturrupted or asks for provider's settings ,any body can help me?,i am in very2 sorry

Enjoy cedar.
Yur cedar wil b fully charged at 7-8 hrs itslf.
After fuly charged.. Ph avoids to tuk d current flow. So it automatically get drains.
Yu'll b face d batry prblm for one week.. Then it'l resolve. So dont be panic.
Ask yur doubts frequently in dis forum.

I charged my mobile for 9 hours yesterday night,as its a new one..but charge is not 100 percent even at morning.. i unplugged my mobile wen it shwn 94 percent at morning. whether its d battery problem or it wil be always lik this??
pls reply guys....
I am very much feeling for this.. Apart from this All applications are good.. simply superb..Mobile s best among 5k range mobile. i too assure u guys..

Headset provided with the mobile s not gud. i used my headset with sony-walkman. no bass at all.. it works onli with this phone.. when i used another(Walkman) head set with this mob,it sounds good.... headset sound has to be made maximum for calls,otherwise sound is not clear at all..

Hey Guys, I have encountered a problem recently on my cedar. The incident that happened was that a drop of water fell on the screen of my mobile screen and then the next day a small white line appeared on my mobile screen the mobile's working fine but the white line is visible clearly. are there any solutions to this problem.Please help me asap.

hey guys,i have an issue with my cedar,
some times it work slow.slow means i configured an email account.suppose 3 mails droped in my account i get notification as a new event in my cedar.
Instead of reading first mail if i want 2 read the second mail.scrolling down 2 the second one take time.
Can you guys tell me why,
plz help.
I have already updated my software,same problem remain.this never happened with my other se phones.

I purchased the Cedar a month back, and I am... moretry with some other 3.5mm head set in ur cedar.and use cedar head set in some other phone.2 detect the problem with head set or the phone.
If u detect the problem go 2 ur nearest service centre and solve the issue.
