Im a hardcore user of cedar. More than 300msgs, 30mins cals per day and oftnly conectd to net. But stl my cedar works cool. I had usd dis for 5mnths. Dnt scrible here.

Cedar is one of the best 3g phone priced at 4250rs (indian market).
If you don't use your phone in proper way then only it will get damaged, even nokia 1100 get's damaged if you don't use properly.

Cedar is a very very very bad phone. Gets damaged within 3 months of use. Whats the use of many features if your phone does not long last. Go for Lava or Spice. Micromax and sony ericsson are bad brands.

Using your pc, download the software from sonyericson website > support.
Install it.
Run it.
It will guide you through the process.
There are no seperate update files.
The software downloads and install them into your phone once you start updating.

It has a inbuilt audio, video player, txt editor, pic viewer, and act as a perfect zip utility, u can make ur files compresed, and also xtract a zip file. Its also act as a bluetooth file manager.

Hi, I love Sony Ericssons and I quite enjoy Cedar as well, but it seems that I have a slight problem with it - the internet applications such as Messenger, Email, Favourites turn themselves on so it's like, my Cedar is connected to the internet 24/7. Is there anything I can do about it ? Help!

Audiophile acoustics and hirons acoustics are available.
Besides for explod volume, there are packs designed for that purpose.
For changing headset output you have to change some file named farfield_out or lineout or headphones .wbxml

You will need internet, pc and datacable for updating your phone.
Updating takes 20min average depending on net speed.
Install the software and it guides you through the process.

Update time depends on your internet speed. it took approximately 20 min when i update my phone.go to sony ericsson support website for detail procedure

is it good in ... more1. Nokia C2-01 is good for loudspeaker and SE Cedar is good for sound clarity and bass effect in Headphone.
2. Cedar can run big size java file without any error. c2-01 cant.
3. Cedar display is better thn c2-01. Cedar display has good brightness,angle view.and display size 2.2. c2-01 display size only 2 and very poor angle view
