Got cedar two months ago. Simply for the price range this is a very good phone. Battery is good. Camera is good but not very good. Supports video calling but dark even used maximum brightness. 3G speed is really good, multitasking is a very useful feature. If there was a company made hands-free with cedar I think it would be good to the customers. Music player is good but need a very good hands-free for the best quality of sound. Cedar got a good key pad. 3.5 mm jack & micro usb slot is very useful. Cedar's blue tooth speed (v2.1) is really good. Biggest weakness is the loudness of the speaker. Use play now feature and get ringtones from there. Some of them are loud enough with this speaker to use as the ringtone. You can get quality & better wallpapers by using play now. But few applications, games & themes in playnow. They can't satisfy cedar. Wapdam,gadgetwap,waptrick & wap.in are the same website with different names. esato.com got good themes. But I Prefer "wap.sefan.ru" for all cedar users. In this site Click on flags to change the language. Use 240*320 resolution for cedar. You can get excellent 3D games & wallpapers, themes, ringtones & etc. Hope you guys will enjoy cedar.. :-)

afrikid, 05 Jan 2011f ur havin a problem wth the volume try samsung earphones..... moreI'm using cedar for about 3 months now No such problems with mine its perfectly fine...there's no firmware update for the moment so just rewrite the old firmware using SEUS. This should solve the problem...

f ur havin a problem wth the volume try samsung earphones...perfect sound,n loud too!
N my phone has startd restartin afta only 3 weeks...any1 wth similar problem? Thanx yuall!

Sony Ericsson Cedar is good enough for my requirement concerning speed of internet. I like it. It is compatible with Nokia miniUSB data cable.
However, the sound quality is not so good, note that I have to set to the loudest sound for getting a good ringing tone....

sound can be improved by changing default sound driver.camera is much better than others,simmilar to 5230(imo).it can record videos at 30 fps,but requires alot of light.frame rate drops to 15 at night.very good phone at this price.

After a lot of thought, I finally decided to go... moreI agree with u on the 1st point but 2,3,4 & 5th points r completely untrue.
None of the things u said is true.
1. Loudspeaker is not loud enough .
2. Camera is really good . It's one of the best 2mp in the current lineup of phones in this price.
3. Music through headphones is good even with supplied headphones & if u buy some other good headphones than it's the best at this price.
4. I can really laugh out loud at ur most stupid comparison. I agree that music player is not as good as walkman but it's miles better than any other possible phone. Nokia , samsung , lg , motorola suck at incorporating good music player in the phones.
5. Only c3 offers wifi at this price but c3 doesn't have the much more important 3G . In cedar u get 3G HSDPA 7.2 MBps with video calling.

Hi All,
After a lot of thought, I finally decided to go for Cedar last week and now I am repenting. The phone is good but with the below issues or drawbacks;
1. Phone inbuilt speaker is not at all loud.
2. Camera quality is too bad for 2 MP.
3. Earphone sound is not good and high.
4. Music player in the phone is way beyong "W" series and uncomparable to Nokia similar models.
5. No wifi in this price

Thanks for your review guys, I was a nokia fanboy till i used 5800. Thanks nokia for the bad experience, you will never get my business now. This phone is very kewl. However, frendz i could not find themes for this handset on the net. Any help would be appreciated.
