Alternative options will appear, select use the phone as mass storage (on top). It will shut the phone off and then restart only as a new drive on the computer.

satisfied but i connect it via usb and installed Sony Ericsson PC Companion 2.0 in that how to add data? the file manager is giving no responce...
how to add files in memory card?

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2011It even transmitting smaller data when you select socket! H... moreRight, i forgot about the protocol overhead. Once the connection is established in the socket mode, then it will not need to send data to re-establish the connection. Thanks for the info mate!

HTTP protocol works like you're using your NetFront browser, each time you download a page it also use or uploading amount of bytes to build the connection with opera server. However the diff size of transmitted data between the two connections is very small, maybe it less than 0.4 kB every time the Opera mini loading a page.

please tell how to do software update thru cedar mobile(FOTA).when i tried it shows "your phone already has the latest software".
my friend says i need server settings to do FOTA.as he has nokia c5 and he updated it via FOTA.
need your detailed advice in this regard.

I would recommend to select Socket coz it keeps the open connection with opera server while using HTTP the browser will establish the connection each time it try to load a page.
5.1 actually is the major change from 4.2, not just from 4.1. The main improvements you can find in 5.1 are the multi tab feature, copy and paste, modern user interface and faster in in-phone management such as adding bookmark and deleting saved (obml5) page files

But I do not recommend 5.x, it has weird interface and stability is worse than 4.1

It reached the agreement page, then the start page. But when I tried to open a site it failed with a 100 java io exception error. I then went to settings and changed to http and then got a 900 java error. Then found the phone browser won't connect either. Restarted the phone, checked that opera's still in http and it connected! I'm posting this message from opera 4.1 right now.
Can someone briefly tell me that the major changes are in 4.2 and 5.1 over 4.1?

abhi, 31 Dec 2010I have sent pics to u . What do u feel now ?thanks abhi... ya the pics look fine but there is still noise evident... am fine as far as cedar's cam is above average...
btw i bought my cedar black/red for the new year... want to keep this one for long.... :)
