      Anonymous, 25 Dec 2010hey abhi, why does phone memory keeps reducing 1mb evrytime... moreThere r many reasons for reduction of phone memory like - using internet via phone's internal browser bcoz it saves the info of browsing history as - history ,cache & cookies. Having more & more msgs in inbox when msg memory is selected as "phone memory" also reduces memory.
      I don't know why ur phone memory is reducing after using opera mini bcoz my phone memory is still the same.
      I suggest u to perform these steps -
      1.clear ur history & cookies in opera mini everytime u finish browsing.
      2.clear history ,cache ,cookies in ur phone's inbuilt browser
      3.remove phone's battery for few minutes.
      4.move ur msgs from phone memory to memory card.

          I really appreciate the fact that u gave a review but u can't really compare cedar with k660.
          K660's price was much more than 10000 INR when launched but cedar's price at launch was just 5700 INR.
          So they r from entirely diff. categories.

              hey abhi, why does phone memory keeps reducing 1mb evrytime i used op mini. Pls reply. Cz whn i chech the memory status it doesnt show any extra game or applications bt it reduces 1mb

                SE K660 - should had been a fantastic phone, if not having its legendary freezing problem

                  Hi All,

                  Overall (RATING: B) -- read below

                  Using this phone for the past two weeks. Over all for the price (INR. 5400/- + taxes)it is a good phone with features from SE.

                  My review is based on the comparison with my previous phone SE K660i. I believe it to be a good method of rating, as I decided to get J108i based on the features K660i had and the overall experience using it for 2 years. I had SE J105i aka Naite in my list but got Cedar for the audio jack and new data connector. With K660i, connecting the data cable / the headphone is trouble after some usage.

                  Previously had a SE T610 -- wonderful phone
                  Next was SE K660i -- another wonderful phone
                  Now SE J108i aka Cedar

                  Comparing it with the SE K660i (Rating A-E)

                  Features -- overall both the phones have similar features. Cedar has faceook, twitter, witgets, standard audio jack... (Rating: A)

                  Screen quality IMHO it is a bit dull and not so sharp compared to K660i (Rating: B)

                  Sound quality not so impressive when compared to K660i. SE could have done a better job with sound as normally a phone is used primarily to speak and hear.
                  Internal speaker -- not so good (1/5)
                  Internal loud speaker -- not so good (1/5)
                  Bundled headphones -- not so good -- meaning the sound quality. (1/5)
                  Tried Sony headset -- not so good (2/5)
                  Tried connecting to car audio system
                  -- not so good (2/5)
                  Tried playing mp3 format songs but the sound quality is not so good. Same for FM.
                  IMO it is the internal audio DSP which in not to the mark of K660i. (Rating: D)

                  User interface -- overall improved speed compared to K660i (Rating: A)

                  Battery life -- comes with a 1000mAH 3.6W battery, good standby time. (Rating: A)

                  Charging -- comes with a charger with some new type of USB connector on the phone. (Rating: A)

                  Internet connectivity -- good connectivity in Ubuntu Linux and Windows with SE suite. The PC software in present in the phone. No need to carry software CD.
                  (Rating: A)

                  Data cable / connector -- not included. The connector on the phone is good as compared to K660i. (Rating: B)

                  Looks -- A new design with a an appealing look. (Rating: A)

                  Ergonomics -- Nice to hold in one hand, but a little annoying to text as it tends to fall off. (Rating: B)

                  Environment -- after you unplug the charger reminds you to switch it off. No CD, plastic, in box -- good for environment. Some other apps in phone, not tried it yet. (Rating: A)

                  Overall -- Cedar is a good 3G phone for the price tag except for sound compared SE K660i. The other option IMHO with similar features and comparable to K660i is SE J105i aka Naite. SE has done a good job with the green initiative, but I expected more from Cedar as my primary usage is for phone calls, next as an audio player and last as a 2G/3G modem. I was really shocked to hear the sound quality, having used the K660i for about 2 years.

                  Overall (RATING: B) -- but I still love SE phones.

You've been asking this questi... moreFirst and foremost i'm not defending cedar i've told whats true that the sound quality is good(not like the n91 or w995 but enough to please a average user) and the camera is average (basic camera that you can find on any mid range se like naite or w580). And about that question i have asked it to one person and he's smard but he replied to it saying "i'm here to discuss about cedar and not about other phones" which proves that he doesnt have a answer and cedar is the best device in the 5k price range...expecting iphone specs at this price range would be stupidity hope you get that.

                            I need WIFI, GPS,3G & 3D games all Features in 1 phone & I think cedar having all features.Kindly help me as i am very confuse about GSMArena Specification & Sony Ericsson specification both are diffrent.Pls check GSM arena specification & below sony ericsson site specification.

                                    Hi everybody. Got my cedar 2 days back. And since then I am patting my own back for making this worthy decision of buying this cell. Am absolute marvel for its price point. Nothing comes even close at this price. Period. And its multitasking? Awesome. Bought c3 first, but replaced it within a day for this. To put it simply, c3 sucks. And cedar's camera is miles ahead of anything available at this price point. And another point, this unit is not for someone for whom music quality is all about loudness. But if you value audio depth and clarity, if you have the ears to identify quality audio, go for cedar. If possible with a pair of sennheisers. But the supplied ones are good too. Hope this helps.
