We live in different places. with different phone operator company. internet connection speed is based on the phone operator company. some have weak signal. some have good signal. Internet is really fast with Cedar 3G and Average on 2G. you will not be disappointed.

Cedar's sound quality is only mediocre. Regardless that this is low budget phone.
Yes it's cheap, so what? Doesn't change the fact that the sound is poor.
I'm not talking about loudness, but the detail of bass/treble is missing.
For those who love music, you'll know the difference.
And the camera is mediocre too.
The pictures are just okay for facebook, not for lifetime documentation.
3G is fast, but remember, many time we have to move from one place to another.
And sometimes you're out of 3G coverage area. That's the problem starts since Cedar's 2G is very slow, often fail to connect.
And i'll keep posting so there will not be much people disappointed.

[deleted post]after reading your concern i just tried the voice recorder of my cedar. i read a sentence and place the cedar 1 - 2 inches away from my mouth.
the result: loud and clear output. noise on the background are very slightly heard. i cant compare it to your previous phone though.

Im not the bad "Smard" but i really like SE cedar. im just sick of smard and abhi saying non sense (abhi-sometimes.) this is an opinion page and maybe people can ask question. abhi has good points about cedar which are true. And smard is just a plain idiot. to the new users of gsmarena.
CEDAR PROs and CONs
Price range $100
Picture quality = average in sunlight, below average in dim light.
Video quality = average.
Sound quality:
Speakers = below average. but made better if placed on maximum volume. barely hear the message tone if place on the mid volume.
Headset = above average. clear and no noise of background
Multitasking.
Fast Transition from page to page.
User Friendly.
Soft keypads. very comftable in texting. no clicking sound on every press.
No Camera button on left lower side.
Very fast internet connection using 3G
Good battery life. last 2 days on moderate use.
No memory card, no usb cable, no headset when bought. (headset- optional)
Cedar IS BETTER THAN NAITE. because
Naite = 3G but only 3.6mbps while CEDAR is also 3G 7.2 Mbps.
Naite = old SE port. CEDAR = 3.5mm jack port.
Naite = keypad is wobbly and makes clicking sound. Cedar = flawless keypad.
Naite = better loudness than cedar. but when using earphones both a above average.
I'll Keep Posting This until everyone who is interested in cedar is satisfied!.

3G means connection.
he is talking about front camera as 3G. misunderstood.
Naite has 3G 3.5mbps(connection) and a FRONT CAMERA. Cedar has 3G 7.5mbps(connection and no front camera.
