Samsung monte doesn't have a good display like this, hsdpa 7.2 mbps which means speed is more than many nokia and samsung's high end phones , then it has multitasking. It doesn't have sound quantity, very low sound but quality of sound you will love. Samsung monte has loud sound but not clear sound. Samsung monte bar what a joke. Use your head dude. If they are taking extra 1400 bucks then its worth and provides features which compensate the extra money then monte. If you want only speaker volume then go and just check sony ericsson w 395 if its not discontinued. You will be deaf hearing its volume and high sound with quality. This is not a music phone but can play music. This is a connectivity phone for heavy texting and social networking. Who listens music in speakers these days except rickshaw pullers. You know what I mean. So go according to your requirement because you don't seem to be ricshaw puller

-good looks
avalible in samsung monte bar avalible at Rs.3900
who will buy cedar?
they are giving 3.5mm jack with poor speaker and earphone whats worth buying it? Rs. 5000

Key pad is good, with nice rubber feel to it, good for texting, the signal strength is good in this phone unlike other models of SE which had signal problem, the backlight does not off but stays dim when in call(nice feature).while in call, all menu options are accessible, including java applications, call swapping is easy. sunlight visibility is ok ok, not as good as SE T715. SE should give option to move or remove operator name in display, wallpapers of people, the face is hidden because of operator name.

its sound quality is very poor. i will suggest don't buy this mobile.

If any of these two things don't allow it then u will not be able to access PlayNow.

hey, wake up people, i want to inform you that this phone in nothing, there is no manual equalizer in it, you cant maximize the music, mega bass is a useless when you can feel the tiredness its a big shut..my beloved k530i is still the best, why don't you try other SE phones out there... hey abhi, hows the d-pad of your cedar,.. it sucks...

does anyone have a se feature phone like cedar/naite/hazel/elm and a se android phone like x10 series???
i wanna buy x10 mini as am in love wit it but i wanna know if it can do everythin tat se feature phones can do – sending multiple messages, havin group contacts, saving msg in sim card or memo card, changin music track by continuously pressin the volume key, all music features, call record, music call n other camera n music features??? i know x10mini doesnt have video call...

U can do it urself as many times as u want.
