Know that, sony cell's full potential is locked and you can unlock it by modding.

If you are comparing this with the legendary k800i, first compare the price mate,
K800i costed around 9000inr, whereas cedar costs just 4500.
So there will be a terrible difference.
If you want an apt replacement for your phone, I suggest you get an elm. Thats the group k800 belongs to.

I got this phone as a present to replace my old K800i - I dont like smart phones, or phones that need to be opened, so simplicity is key for me.
All I can say is, if you've had a K800i, this phone is a very bad replacement. the whole mix of preinstalled applications that you can't delete, awful camera, undeletable standard links to websites you dont want or need... it is an absolute step back.
The ring tones are a far cry from good, and the radio feature has no volume control (barely audible)...
I can think of only one word (that is allowed in print) to describe the phone: a nuisance!
Now I have to pretend I like the phone, and use it instead of my much loved K800i.. the only fault that that phone has is that after 3 or 4 years the battery is wearing out. --- any takers out there for my 'cedar' ?

Then this phone gaves battery back up alteast 4 days for an average user like me. Good 3g speed too.

It tag your photos with your location info by your network's transmiter, basis on nearby tower. There's no need to show specific latitude and altitude about your direction on the giant world map. In google map ,try full zoom out and then zoom in your area.you can discover how little is your area and then how little is you. Try this,
Go to phone settings- connectivity- usb- default connection- select usb file transfer.
Else, it May be due to the antivirus in pc or a virus in your phone.

I think ur memory card is defect... morei hav dne the master rest,and even tried a new mem crd,bt the problem is stil there,its just that,when the memry crd is new,it works fyn,bt whenever it fills up mre than half of its memory available,this problem occurs!

hi guys im here after a long time ,i choose cedar over many phones which were more expensive eg.x2,5130 and i am happy now that i bought cedar ,1 year old and till rocking,guyz in this forum helped me when i faced problems with this phn,no widgets ,poor battery life but my phn lasts long now.i don,t remember all thier names maybe. yb,wreck amd some others i think so .its very unbearable that ericsson is no more ,i really expected a modified version of this phn.and i think sony will not make any phns like this,frnd i would like to be keep in touch u guyz,fb name is hassancrime,im typing this with my cedars super keypad thank you guys.

guys i am haveing a serious problem,whnever i transfer files to my cedar the memory card stops working,i hav then re insert it to get it woring back again but it again stops working whenever i transfer files or its connected to my computer or when i am useing apps like e buddy and opera...any suggestions for this issue..?? plzz help me guys..thanxx in advance.

Since the xperia pro family gives perfor... moreAnd remember that it will be running on gingerbread (must be the last GB 2.3.7 version) from the start, that's a different thing with galaxy ace as it was upgraded from froyo version. SONY told us the difficulties of upgrading Xperia 2011 lineup to ICS while at the same time they already have neo L (2011 specs) with ICS running which seems having no problem at all with ICS.
Won't be getting ICS in the future time will allow SONY to put all their best efforts to optimize Tapioca's performance up to the limit. Why need ICS if gingerbread is the more stable version to run with a lower cpu and RAM.

Since the xperia pro family gives performance of then 20k other manufacturers smartphones, it makes sense if tapioca can give performance of galaxy ace.
I'm 200% sure tapioca will outrun ace in one thing.
Video recording. It'd be defenitely better than ace's qvga recording.
