does this bad frame rate while recording videos in dim light happen with other phones as well, like in nokia or samsung phones tat have vga@30fps and hd@30fps recording????

Updates to the firmware can just remove small bugs/glitches.may increase the speed of U/I..
plz.. do not expect increase in video/audio quality etc etc.......
From earlier experience Upadated firmware could be pain in a** also
for eg.
The Updated Firmware R1DB001 for W 700/K750/W800 was gud for camera drivers but worst for MUSIC Drivers, sound was very low compared to the earlier version of firmware i.e. R1CA021.
Plz check the Firmware version of ur fone....
after 2 mnths of launch we can expect upgrade in firmware if there is real prob with it....
latest package boxes may have newer updated firmware[if available]
so do not expect much frm firmware updates...
overall this fone seems gud for the price range, 260 Inbuilt memory so no hanging issues like the Major TOKIA's,respectable screen size & resolution, average music[may be better than tokia],Quality handsfree [Similar to HPM 75 with 3.5 mm jack minus Fastport connector]provided with the fone.
No Offence to Tokia Fans Or anyone......
may consider to buy it as second fone........

Some one had Asked about Data cable & Handsfree..........
U will get Handsfree but I do not know the model no. as I do not own the fone
I do not own cedar but frm online manual i found that the box contains Data Cable......
wire can be detached frm power adapter which has Female USB connector & could be connected to PC for charging as well as data transfer. Only Owners Can Confirm this if availabe in India.

I'm using Hazel, almost similar cpu and platform used by this phone, but better in camera driver, however my video records showed some lags for 1 or 2 seconds every one minute of duration. And it occures in my phone too that in low light situation the result can be drop to 8fps. If video is your concerning, then add your budget and get the Elm instead. Judging by its price range, Cedar is near to a basic phone, but it is blessed with lots of features and capabilities, not that great but decent enough.

Equalizer, yes but no costumizeable.
