Can anyone suggest a simple midrange phone, preferably from SE, something a bit like w810 reincarnated in slimmer body: non-smartphone, decent battery backup, decent screen, decent keys, LED flash, 3MP or better camera, good connectivity. K770 is almost, but not quite: the screen is too small, and what about the keys (I think camera design of k770 is perfect)? Elm is all right, but with all the bells and whistles (e.g. expensive GPS navigation) the price has rocketed sky-high. Naite has decent battery life and very good screen, but that's about it. Now the Cedar is very near: fantastic simple design, good video recording capabilities - but the lack of flash and not-so-good battery life just aren't acceptable. But maybe it's just too much to ask, maybe there's not such a thing as perfect phone?

On SE homesite the talk time is exactly the same: up to 4:40. It seems someone has decided good battery life isn't essential:(

Why cant Sony Ericsson start releasing few basic phone models? With features like fm, more msgs contact storage, mp3, 3.5 mm jack, expandable memory, without camera with price range of below Rs. 2000. e.g. J230i, J120i, etc. Are people just dying to buy high end phones. Is there no one who wants sony to manufacture basic good models... Thanks.

Unfortunately for India, video calling has never really caught on and is rarely used. Thus SE probably can't see the point of fitting an extra camera at the front for a facility which is so little used.

Hi just ask for one questions y sonyericsson people wen their is no 3g that time they launch so much model front camera phones, but now in india had launching 3g but they r not providing font camera.
