if 3g and battery life is important then naite is better since it has front camera .if 3.5 jack and micro usb is important then cedar is your phone.

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2010but cedar does not have video calling feature..Cedar has a video calling feature, it has no front camera so the main camera is the one used for video calling, simultaneous face to face video calling is therefore impossible unless you're in front of a mirror, but anyways it still has that feature.

Yeah man even I'll consider this over Naite.
It tops the Naite specifications with a 3.5 Jack and VGA video recording with what is sure to be an improved UI.

Finally, a Sony Ericsson phone that conforms to industry 'standards' like:
1. microSD (instead of M2)
2. microUSB charger
3. 3.5mm audio out
I'm cancelling my Naite order for this.

I really don't care about video calling. What's important to me are 3.5mm audio jack and 30fps video. 2MP is more than enough for me. 1.3MP is enough for me. ;)

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It's better than the Naite and as I know Naite is a very good phone and for those who keep talking about the lack of flash, not everyone needs a flash or AF present. Consider the camera as a bonus feature rather than something prominent.

I would definitely pick this over Naite! This phone has 30fps videos recording 3.5 mm audio jack. Those 2 features alone put this phone head and shoulder above Naite.

If you keep aside the 2MP camera the rest of the specs are pretty good&standard and this phone can be directly compared with SE's own Naite. Cedar even out dos Naite in video recording.
Naite's a nice phone for sure and this one too will be.

I'm waiting for this kind of phone from SE! I like this! I need 2 units ASAP. I like simple, candybar, elegant phones with features like this. "Nokia-ish" to be exact! lol

Sony Ericsson has no imagination anymore? And from the image on the screen it even looks like the menu from a nokia.Tis is VERRY SAD.If I want a nokia i'll buy a nokia, but I want a Sony Ericsson:(

Venom, 18 Jun 2010so is 3 MPx and 5MPx,but still they're ok for midrange devi... moreActually I think you're quite right. The pictures my old Samsung takes with it's 1.3 MP are quite passable, 2MP is a step higher and it's Sony Ericsson, after all.
