vicky, 13 Mar 2012can we connect cedar via bluetooth to surf the internet on ... moreYes. we can connect to laptop via bluetooth to surf internet. I tried it on HP laptop with vodafone and browsed well and I even connected my cedar to ipad 2 but there were frequent connection drops on airtel.

Whatsapp for s40 works.
Multitasking is java. Means you cant minimise gallery, settings page, file manager etc. Everything else is a go.

Last month I have modded a couple of things in tpa/system/layout and yesterday I got the original tpa/system/layout in se-nse. Everything is fine except the volumbar bar icon,it seems like the original volume bar icon has mixed with the modded one. So,its a pain in the eyes whenever I control the volume the volume bar icon is a mess in the screen. So,what could be the problem? Is it the media_volumecontrol.xml? Give me remedies guys. Thanks.

guys, i noticed an error in my phone after getting it serviced.
instead of showing the right function key "speakron" during an ongoing call, it says, "soundon".
i think the service center guys need to be taught of wotanserver.

If you meant HD videos as far as a 2.2" dislay is considered, yes.
Cedar plays nHD (640x360)symbian screen res, and LowHD or ipodHD (480x270), videos well if its frame rate is 24fps and below.
Usually, phones with QVGA (320x240) recording, cant play videos beyond that resolution, but Cedar does.
And playing those high res videos in a lower resolution screen, had nearly the same effect as playing Real HD (1080p,720p) videos in Pc's and T.v's, really high in detail.

in case you dont know, this phone got an open file system, which allows you to customise it in literally every way possible.
for increasing sound, you just got to replace the current greenheart, so no noise pollution audio drivers, (yup wtf) with normal drivers . sound increases considerably, and its just a walk in the park.
