One of my cousin is sort of a sony ericsson maniac. He was one of the main reasons I went along with my plan to buy cedar even though I had x2 from the same range.
His first phone was a w200 then he jumped into a c510 and then into T715. Now he owns an x8 and is planning for ray or active.
He hadnt sold any of those models and i've compared cedar to T715. Hadnt spot any difference as you said except that it got a flash, better camera and fastport which is because its a higher range device.

Have you compared cedar with old SE phones?if you have,than you will find that cedar is much slower than those.you guys are now appreciating fOR cedar but i'm sure that after 1 or 1.5 years your opinion will change 180 degree.

walleve, 28 Feb 2012it can only support 24fps. tried and tested. beyond that, i... moreYes. The video skips frames if the frame rate is above 24fps and the resolution exceeds 320x240.
If you'd like to get awesome clarity, get your videos converted in h264 codec instead of the normal mpeg4v codec.
Its amazingly clear.
A 480x270 24fps 900kbps bitrate mp4v codec video got the same clarity of its 480x270 24fps 500kbps h264 version in cedar. Means in h264 codec, you get great clarity even at lower bitrates. So saves file size. But the downside is, it takes longer to convert any video into h264 mp4 file than mp4v codec mp4 file.
And if anyone got the habit of downloading from torrentz and watching the movies in your phone, always go for ipod or zune versions (ofcourse not hd resolutions, only files under 360p max). Coz these files plays in cedar and gives optimum clarity.

That indeed happened. My cedars display was damaged and I got it replaced in my nearest sony ericsson service centre, swiss time house, gcda complex, marine drive, ernakulam (kochi).
Sort of went a bit overboard in the details?
Try dropping your phone from a real good height, preferably 1st floor into a hard surface, if its under warranty :p

Use modified menu.ml to get that option in setting menu.
And if you got old version of fw. Then update it. Then try to connect. Updated version is better and stable than old.
