Hi guys! I have this phone and I am having issue doing a file transfer through bluetooth. It seems that it's not working or not searchable by other devices. My friend has the Hazel and when we do a file transfer, no connection can be found between the two phones. Please help.

i had bought it for at least 3 weeks ago...as far as i concern, the phone is totally ok....only the signal of the bluetooth make me sad....the bluetooth signal is poor, it can send to others but others can send it back....

Dino, 14 Jul 2010my elm's bluetooth gt problem, is software problem or phone... moreI have the same problem; I think it's some kind of a glich in the new update, or something went wrong while the phone was updating, although I hope that Sony Ericsson will fix it in the next update (Hope, it get's out soon).

There is a problem with ELM firmware (and also Hazel as well) :
When you want to install a java application (that will be installed on memory card by default) phone may reject the memory card and you should remove the memory card and put it in slut again.
The only solution is to move your Java files on phone memory and then remove memory card and install them on phone memory. It’s an irritating problem that may occurs frequently no matter what kind your micro SD memory is.
Have you ever faced this problem?
I had it on both elm and hazel with different memory cards from different manufacturers.

Ms. Sonali, 26 Jul 2010hii thanx 4 information... do u hav dis cel?? So overall Hw... moreNo, I don't hv one but I own its sibling, Hazel. These two kinds are actually the same phone, except Hazel is a slider phone with bigger screen. And one other thing that Elm is much lighter than Its bro.
Performance of these two cellphone is almost similar at overall departments, though some reported that elm's display is more inferior than hazel's under sunlight.
Entertaining features in my opinion are very good with certain conditions:
- great camera results in bright situation, lots of settings to improve photos, but useless flash camera because can't improve pics qlty when the object is more than 4 ft distance. Oh and it records decent video too
- superb audio quality actually, but not with the headset you got in retail box, need better hdset type like comes with sony ericsson walkman phone
- preinstalled internet browser is fine, but I prefer use opera mini browser for simply and practical reason
- others like radio, video player, games, applications, calling & messaging are also fine
Disadvantages:
- mainly regarding reception issues - "weird"
About battery, advise frm sony ericsson is charging the phone often for 1st few days will improve battery life. I myself never let my battery capacity drop till 60% at the first week, and now I can use the phone (moderate usage) for 2 days of a cycle recharge.
The last world, if you're not bothered with its weight, bigger size and slider platform, I would recommend to buy sony ericsson hazel rather than elm, the price is almost the same.

yes most of SE phones are made in china including this one but phone is still good, the only problem is how they spell minimize as minimise, yeah but feature is still good

Are these Sony Ericsson phones "Made In China" ??? I read it on a cover box of cellphones in a Mobile Store. IS IT FINE ????????? Plz someone clarify.

it does show mine. u can see the red handset phone at the top which means a call was missed and a yellow envelope which shows a new msg was received. does ur minimize spelled as minimise?
