im really bothered with how they spell minimize and synchronization, makes me feel selling the phone..geeEezzzz..still phone looks good..just ignore the minimiSe and synchroniSation T_T

The charging issue is only fault with the low energy consumption charger, if you replace it with a normal sony ericsson charger it is perfect. Reception issue might be locational so its also not a big issue. The loudspeaker is on the low side, if you aint bothered about it, then its not a issue either.
The phone is very solid, texting is fabulous, and after all it has all the latest multimedia features for a mid price range phone. Its a good choice and a decent phone. Go Green Sonali....

Question about standby screen:
How does the Elm show if there is a missed call or text message when the phone shows standby screen? I read somewhere there is no icon showing in standby?
Also, does everyone have a clock in standby screen?

hi,
I had a problem charging this phone using the low enegry charger supplied with the phone. but later i used a normal Sony ericsson charger, the charging is perfect. My standby is great. I beleive this low energy charger is a voltage issue. I am from Sri Lanka. To my surprise, the phone arcade that sold my phone, had the similar issues, where they had to change the low energy charger with normal ones. Its time someone responsible in Sony Ericsson take this matter up seriously.
This phone is a great Phone to text and the features are really worth for a mid range phone. The operating speed is very good. I recommend this phone for any new users.

If we use a phone like this (Elm) that doesn't have any open operating system like symbian or currently popular - android, and you're not connecting it to your computer or laptop, I don't think it's necessary to install any antivirus. Yes, it might attack your phone, but the effect for java phones like this can be ignored, eg. it doesn't corrupt your files or data, won't make your phone hangs or whatsoever, it may affect phone's system but overall it is barely noticeable.

Put a walkman logo and i will buy this...even if sony adds another $100 on the price. love the specs. only thing missing is the 3.5mm jack.

Go to: Menu >Settings >General >Security >Antivirus. It will guide you to www.f-secure.com. Not the best antivirus, but at least your phone will have virus warning.

hiiiii guyz... i hav nevr uzd wi fi cell b4. sooo i wanna ask dat az v require antivirus software in laptop while uzin intrnet in oder 2 remain safe 4m viruses.. likewize do v need 2 hav antivirus in mobile lso??? i think dere is no antivirus software in mobiles..so iz it fyn 2 uze intrnet on dis phone??? plzzz reply.......

i need someone to help me with a small issue, i bought this phone 2 days back, the charging does not seem to stay. the charge only stays for 1 day, but i saw the review and some comments of few users, it read, the charge stays for 2 days (min). pls help me, is it a charger issue, battery issue or, software problem?? awaiting a quick response... appreciate your help.
