Hi techno, you seem very 'understand' the way this phone work..can you answer my question as below?
it was about gps..other than wisepilot apps that provided in the phone (data roaming applied), are there any apps that can be download to be use as gps apps which data roaming is not charge?
really need your help..thanks dude

andry, 08 Mar 2011how to turn off gprs and use wifi only? You need not turn off GPRS. When you are connected to an active wi-fi network(while the wi-fi icon is green), the phone uses only wi-fi and ignores gprs network.
To check, enter an address in phone's default browser. The pop up will show "connecting using.....wi-fi...or mobile network"

i wannna get a good headset for elm.. can some one list the various options, its price n if they r good or not??
we have hpm64, hpm66, hpm70, hpm 84, mw600 bluetooth sterio etc....

The last time it fell on sharp stone surface causing my heartbeat to pause for a moment, but I was amused to see it as healthy as ever! And this time I found it interesting to see that as it falls down, due to its peculiar design, the phone landed on its SIDE and not face down. Only a very slight scratch remained of the impact with stone. The greenheart materials looks tough enough.
I am using the mw-60, it is very good, though not outstanding. I have not tested many headsets with it. However it is a useful gadget having an inbuilt FM radio and info display. The best headset with Elm, as far as I could test, was SE HPM-64, bass reflex headphones.
It doesnt freeze or lag, fast interface,, but there are SE phones with a faster interface..

I have decided ... moreA suggestion to everyone confused between c5 & elm > go for elm without any doubt, it's much better than c5.
I'm not buying it bcoz I already have plethora of SE java phones. So, it's better for me to go with c5.

I have decided to go for c5. U already know how many SE java phones I already have, so i'm kind of bored with the same interface again and again. This time i'll be using symbian after a long time.

hi.i've been using this phone for a month & it's really satisfy my needs..but i want to know for GPS aps, are there any garmin software that can be install in elm phone, use without any data charge & where to download it?

When I think abt buyi... morehey i have the same problem but i think i will repent more if i buy a c5 now.. :) btw if u r the abhi in the cedar forum, u seem to have used se in the past, so elm should be good... u can get apps, mobile office, multitaskin in elm n can get an extra 3.5 jack connector with elm but with c5 u can't get the best 5mp cam, video at vga30fps, wifi, best sound, good animation, noise shield etc... think! btw, elm in 7200 is a steal... :)

When I think abt buying c5 i'm like- no... elm is better, I will get 5 mpx camera with autofocus, smile/face detection, wifi, splash resistant body, noise cancellation, motion gaming, better video recording & many other things which r not in c5 but when I think abt buying elm I feel that c5 is better...in it i'll get 600 mhz processor, lots of good applications & games, full smartphone performance, full document readers & editors & extremely customizable interface.
All this is really irritating :-(. I have a feeling that whichever phone I will buy i'm later gonna repeant that I should have bought the other one.
Please guys, help me to choose better one and be fair, don't be biased... looking forward for ur help
