I bought this phone a few days ago.. I love it. But I am not able to zoom while taking a photograph at 5MP. It says " Zoom not possible at this picure size. Select a smaller picture size ". What should I do to zoom ? Is there any settings that I have to change ? Pls help me guys. This s the first time I am using sony ericcson.. I Hope some one gives me a solution..

loud enough? -yes. and not more than that
internet -fast. pictures can be uploaded directly(photo-options-send) to Facebook and twitter
Screen is a bit dim , visibility at different angles is fair.

Hi Guys..
I bought this phone a few days ago.. I love it. But I am not able to zoom while taking a photograph at 5MP. It says " Zoom not possible at this picure size. Select a smaller picture size ". Ok. After 6 months using it I'm sell this phone. Why? because about 2 weeks ago I'm accidentally send MMS to my own number. And its cost RM6.30 (approx €1.50) when normal rate is RM0.15 (approx €0.04). I'm make a report to Celcom (Malaysia telco company) and they said some new Sony Ericsson Java OS phone have some problem on data service. So I'm selling this phone and buy HTC Aria.

Hey friends,plz tell me abt the sound quality of Elm ,is it loud enough?also tell me abt it's internet speed,can we upload pic directly to any social networking site by this?another thing is it's screen resolution,is it visible from any angle?it should not be like my nokia x2..which turns black when i move it to my right hand side....n which phone is better among zylo,elm,nokia c5 and nokia 5230? Hope u reply soon ,thanks.

elv, 23 Feb 2011Thanks. So that means I can't install new fonts without cha... moreIf you just copy a font to the file system, it is NOT going to affect the system font anyway. You may try that if you really need it. Since there is a slight risk always associated with the process, it is my part to warn you that you will be doing it at your OWN RISK...hope you understand :)
It seems that Elm uses a font called 'Universal' and not the usual Sans-Serif. All the fonts corresponding to language options are there in the folder.
The Process:

You may refer the far manager guide in the below page;

This tutorial is for installing flash menus. The only difference here is that you will be opening tpa>preset>system>fonts instead of tpa>.....>flash. Copy your fonts file and press QUIT.
Note: 1. Release 'c' key only after the phone is identified by far manager. Then a message window will be shown; just press ok and continue working.
2. Phone file system will be in the LEFT pane of far manager and computer will be on the right pan(unlike shown in the tutorials)
Install fonts and see whether you can use it in browser.

Elms only advantage over E52 is the camera. I should know, I have both phones.
