HELLYM, 02 Jan 2011se elm camera - beware!! camera does not zoom at any resol... moreYou can zoom the pictures taken though.. use vga if you want to zoom.. use your common sense man, who needs a zoom if you are taking a 5mp pic.. just zoom it after you took it. It's not a big deal like you're gonna die if you can't use the zoom in every setting.. what's worse is when you don't know how to use and appreciate a phone because you are dumb.

ya the camera is the major issue of this phone.It cannot zoom & not much quality as a five megapixel cam.

With all options and customisation that a nokia has, its menu still looks boring. And don't talk about easy-friendliness if your mind is sticking with nokia, you will compare everything to it. Once you learn to use a sony ericsson, you'll find SE phones are easier to use, more practical and fun.
Few examples: you can not create a folder to arrange music files in nokia feature phones unless by a pc, or if you receive a file sent via bluetooth you have to find the file first in the receive files section to move it to the respective folder. Not to mention multitasking...

hello guys.. im planning to buy this phone but i need ur advice.. first of all please tell me about the audio quality of the phone.. i mean how clear it is?.. can it replace a music player... how is the camera quality of the phone and most important reception of the phone.. what is its present market price.. hope you all will help... thanks in advance...

and i forgot... lousy loudspeaker, gps not functional, low range wi-fi... on the other hand, it has a great design and quality built, good display&camera, good battery life

It's a great phone, but it has one great minus: it's not a nokia and therefore the menu is not as well thought. many options and customizations are missing. besides that, during conversation, the other person can hear the beeps and sounds that only you should hear while receiving another call(call waiting) or a message

This is one the best mobiles. i have using it since 10 months for now......good camera, still 5mp quality - Video quality is awsome, GPS, Wifi,Track ID music Recognition, (though it has no front camera which is a drawback)...Battery is also good. works fine without charging for more than 1 day. Nicw audio quality while listening to music. those phone has also clear voice function to hear crystal clear voice when talking or calling.........

hye guys,i just bought this phone last week,but the bater... moreFor normal use when there is enough network coverage. I get 2-2.5 days. But when used heavily(on the first few days I didn't allow the phone to rest, exploring all features..) it ended in 1.5 days.
My conclusion is the battery not adequate if we use all the heavy features like GPS, Wi-Fi etc. Why do SE hesitate to provide strong batteries also when they release full-featured phones?? Even local phones now has 2000 mah battery!!
Sophie, hope You know the situations which drains the battery rapidly;
1. Calling
2. Inadequate network coverage or unstable network, like while in traveling. In these cases, the phone will continuously search for network, eating a lot of battery.
3. Bluetooth/GPS/Wi-Fi
4. Too high levels of screen brightness(but this wont much affect Elm since screen brightness is controlled)
Battery settles to its maximum capacity after the first few recharge cycles. It is good to follow full discharge-full charge cycles during the first few days of use, even though Lithium-polymer batteries are free from memory effect..

I really want this phone, but my budget is not really fitted to this phone...
It's hard to earn money for the purpose of buying a full feature's phone...
