Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hard to decide. I'm not really a big fan on nokia's design and UI. What 3120 has over g502 are: secondary camera for videocalls, it's quadband, better EDGE, and 16M color screen(hard to ignore). What G502 has over 3120 are: its 3G-HSDPA (thats 3.6 Mbps compared to 3120's 384 kbps), and for me, better UI. If 3120's price is the same as that of G502, I would go for it. But if you want faster internet like using it as a modem (i do that a lot), go for G502. It's your choice actually.
But if you want my biased opinion, go for G502 ;-). You're posting on g502's page, what else do you expect us to say? Hehehehe.

I'll revise my earlier post. The phone memory can save thousand messages, maybe more. Mine already have around 1,800 messages and counting.

my phone is getting restarted thrice or some time more than that times a day. what is the permanent solution for this and also in this if we play media player it becomes very slow and works slower than a snail walk. if possible please provide the website name or url link from were i can upgrade the software of this phone..............................waiting for positive reply....

Well its a great phone to use. The 2MP camera gives crystal clear pics of around 350-400kb. The speakers are good. keypad is also nice but it might be a problem in the beginning to get used to the joystick buttons. With HSDPA provided in 2g mode, the browsing is really fast than other phones of this category. Its truly a great phone with all the features at this price range. ******** Cons: Pics are not clear in dim light. No flash provided

I've just read the specs of s312. Notice the name 312, its got a 2.0 mp camera, a scratch resistant display, and a FLASH. Unbelievable. This is where Sony Ericsson disappoints me in general. They kind of keep you hanging. It's like a 'this or that' kind of thing. You'll ask: why g502 don't have a flash, they'll say: because it's not a camera phone. Wny not a scratch resistant display? They say: you have to pay more for it. Then why s312 got a flash and a scratch resistant display? Maybe they'll say: because it got a lower screen resolution, or S stands for stylish. Or maybe i'm just misled by their naming conventions. Or maybe s312 cost as much as w902. Confusing? I am confused.

I am looking to buy this phone shortly. It has Wind... moreJust bought the phone and I'm impressed after just a few hours play. The Ad2P works a treat with my SE stereo earphones :)
The net is running on 3G but is reasonably fast. The keyb is a joy to use and love the backlighting. The display is excellent. The battery was quick to charge up and is long lasting. I dl mini opera as its a better browser than the built in one.
STill plaing with it and its features - might even read the instruction manual now lol
In short, its the best mobile I've ever had and I love it.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Read GSMArena's review for Nokia 5130 particularly the last page. I friend of mine have that phone. It looks cool, but i would prefer g502. G502 is much slimmer, and i really dig the phone's display and the keypad and its backlighting. But don't expect much from g502 in the music department. It has 3.0 walkman, so scaled down SE even removed the sort function but plays music just fine. Such feature reserved only for walkman phones. Whatever, i have it for four months now... and love this phone. Go for G502.
