The bluetooth ASDP is brilliant as its 3G modem. The keyboard is better than I expected. Just wondering whether or not to bother with getting a Nokia E71 now.

Hi had the G502 about a week now and it is brilliant. Just one point/question. When you 'install' it as a bluetooth device in Vista (Home Premium) it also sets itself up as a remote control for Windows/Media Player/Media Centre - brilliant as you then have a bluettoth remote control for Windows (and it works a treat while the app is running) - and a remote control application comes up on the G502's screen - great!
BUT, when you exit that on the G502 - how do get it back without deleting the G502 device from Vista and reinstalling it?
I can't find the app on the phone yet BUT it MUST be there somewhere in the firmware or it wouldn't show up when installing the G502 under Vista. Anybody know a shortcut to getting the remote application back? (Without having to delete and then reinstall the phone every time you want to use the G502 as a Windows remote control).
                Thanks in anticipation,
                Allan

i thing m2 is more better and stronger than micro SD, my 1GB M2 is 3 year old now and without any problem. (used since my k610, k530 and now on my G502).

It's a good thing SE is starting to shift to micro SD / SD cards. M2 cards are very expensive. A 4-gb m2 costs 4 times more compared to micro SD cards.

As for the calls keys, mine is still as good as news. What i did was, I applied a thin coating of clear nail polish. Once the coating starts to wear off, i applied another coating again. How's that? Hahaha. A simple trick but it works. As for the display, i use a screen protector, can replace it anytime and the screen? Scratch free.

No the 3120 classic costs cheaper than g502 (quite shockingly)That's why I got the 3120 classic instead of the g502,I am owning a k800i also but my k800i always had messaging limits, like only around 1k of messages and the phone always warns me that I should delete my messages,So that's why I did'nt go for G502 before. But now kinda had a little doubt, cause now I know that this phone does'nt have messaging inbox limit like my k800i.

The price of 3120 classic as for now is 5,700 and the G502 costs about 6,000.

Grrr!!! should have read the review more clearly,I got focused on the media center, and forgot all about the messaging department.AHAHAHA!!!! anyone selling this for 2nd hand?

Sachin, 11 May 2009go for 5130 only if u love hearing music often. but the ca... moreThe G502 has a better music experience due to the Mega Bass and the better media center and the much appreciated Sony Ericsson battery, but to answer your question how the 3120 classic stacked up,it proved satisfactory,it was loud but not very loud, sound that came out (using the equalizer preset given by nokia) it was flat and sharp, but putting into your own equalizer it'll be ok.But take in mind that the 3120 classic also had a good battery,I tested the 3120 classic with a full battery playing music straight forward and after nine hours it only drained 2 bars of my battery then another 13 hours for just texting and standby and around 5 minutes of calling.

                                      G502's advantage
                                      -A trustwothy Sony Ericsson battery
-The Media Center (having in ind it's an XMB simmilar to the psp)
                                      -Cyber-shot 2.0 interface
                                      -Flash themes
                                      -Mega Bass
                                      -better speakers
-paint does'nt seem to chip off like the one on 3120 classic's battery cover

                                      3120 classic
-Good battery life, but I don't know if it will last longer than G502
-A slighlty better screen (due to 16m colors)
                                      -Secondary cam
-S40 User interface which means you can change your own icons
                                      -Better keypad and looks
-A LED flash for your cam
-up to 8gb capability and micro SD is cheaper

If you want better sound quality and a more eye candy UI (I loved the XMB UI of sony and the flash themes)go ahead and use G502.
But if you want more memory and a better look (Well depends on your taste buds, but generally I liked the 3120 classic better) then 3120 classic is just right for you.

good fone.. im using it 'bout 1 year.. still works like new.. but the build quality is suck! the fone is much uglier than 1 yr ago.. the screen scratched everywhere even cracked, the call/end keys peeled off, etc.. however its still far better than other fone in the same price range.. :D
