I have the following queries reg. this phone. Pl answer asap.
1. Is this phone a speaker phone?
2. Does this phone support custom themes or only built-in ones?
3. Will the ringtone volume be loud enough to hear in moving bus or so?
4. I suppose it supports all big java jar files like dictionary. No 1MB Jar limit right?
5. Is it a joy stick or a key navigation phone? I am not able to find it from the image :(

It using back cam for vidiocall or u can change to picture :-D

Naresh, 15 Mar 2009I bought new sony ericsson G502. I fall in love with its br... moreI don't know. But maybe you can try flash it with RF###35, probably your SW version is RF###31. Try searching it in se-nse. I have a copy here but i haven't tried using it. Too risky. Maybe i can upload my copy but I don't know where to post the link (not allowed here i guess). Or better still try to re-flash just the camera driver with the original one. No harm in doing so. I really don't know what's the problem. But you can try.

Specifically this phone is not designed to make/receive video calls. But with modding ( a software tweak here and there), maybe we can. But i don't think that's possible. Receiving calls maybe but not making one. Imagined using the camera at the back to make a video call. Very awkward. :-0

hey guys,Im Planning to buy this phone.but i hv a question...Although this G502 mentioned as a 3G phone {or 3.5G} can we take video calls coz there isnt a secondary camera. Any idea abt this????

I bought new sony ericsson G502. I fall in love with its browsing speed and picture clarity. But when i capture a picture, i can view it only in media, not in file manager. In file manager, it displays a small logo with broken image instead of picture. I can use it as screensaver but not as wallpaper. It wasnt even displaying that file size. Anybody please help me. Thanks in advance.

I've done a few mods to this phone. Already removed the operator logo & increase the album art size from 72 (default) to 100. I'm starting to get the hang of this... :-)
