len, 17 May 2009Been using this G700 phone for about 5 months now, the touc... morei definitely agree with you. i hate this phone. at first i thought it was just the unit that i'm using. but when i had my unit changed, the same problem happened. this phone has many defects. it hangs. sometimes, the keypad hangs. other times, the touchscreen isn't working. i also experienced the phonebook cannot be accessed. delayed text messages. messaging is corrupted. calls were also blocked. i already called sony ericsson customer service. but the agent told me that this model has a problem with the Operating System. so why not pull this model out of the market. i had so much regard for SE because my old phone a K750i was really amazing (even if my kid had dropped this many times). but with this G700, i really got very disappointed. it's not worth your money.

deactivate 3g, use gsm mode only. less battery consumption.

help. i just bought my G700, i just fixed the time and date into our current time and date. but when someone texts me, i see ddifferent time and date but when i go to the settings and fix it, it's the right time and date. i don't know what to do.

Does anybody here get scratches in the screen when they use the stylus or should I talk to SE for this? Also, does anyone have a photo editor application as the built-in editor can't be use unless if you're making mms. These are the only problems that I have otherwise the phone is very nice. It has a very capable camera and its music player is very nice and intuitive.

i've this phone for three weeks and it's good..at first i worried because the battery dropped quickly, it's just have about a day stand by time with normal use..but when i know how to manage the battery i can use this g700 longer..

please help.. i have this problem on my phone. i set the correct date and TIMe in the settings and it shows correct time in my desktop but time details in my message were all incorrect. for example, its 11am but when the message arrive, it says 4am.. help pls.. over all, this handset is great!

to add on,
this phone size and appearance look like any ordinary phone out there, no one will notice it's fully touchscreen with os.Smartphone in disguise indeed.
in my country, G700 is only 2/3 price of G900.Therefore is definitely worth buying.

I really like this unit but still have no idea on how can I have like this much expensive cellphone. I only have G700 only in my dream.. If you have extra cellphone can I just buy it in a very low low price? so that I can experience to have a camera phone. thank you
