Ron, 16 Oct 2010can you play (.flv) file in this fone???no you can't. this phone only supports 3gp and mp4 format video only. if you wish to watch your flv format video, just convert it to mp4. cheers.

i would like to say only two things about this mobile first the worst thing and then the best..
the worst thing is it's hardware is so so annoying, gives a lot of problems
the best thing is it's software
i've bought samsung i8910 omnia hd after this mobile 3 months ago and i will say omnia hd hardware is the king 600mHZ processor graphics accelerator but i did not like symbian s60 5th.. it's totally annoyming me.. i iwish i have software of g900 and hardware of i8910..

I have been using this phone for more than 2 years now. It's really the first phone I bought immediately at its launch. I had done an extensive 2-month research before buying and can say that it has served me well.
The screen did give some problems a year and a half after I bought it. Thankfully, I had extended my warranty into the 2nd year. Replacement parts would have been exhorbitantly expensive.
What I don't like:
A. Slow processor. I bought a nokia E60 4 years ago and it had 208MHz processor. G900 has only 200 and it was 2.5 years ago! Phone will start to slow down loading the many pics and songs that I put in there. Phone will also be a lot slower if its internal 128MB is occupied more than half.
B. No 3.5mm audio jack. The converter is a hassle as the connection tends to get loose.
C. Poor picture colours with the camera.
D. Taking notes on Microsoft Word in the phone tends to be slow. The screen can't keep up with my typing speed. A workaround solution was to type in Notes, then copy and paste into Word.
E. Sony bug that plagues phones with hanging and resetting. I'm thinking it's due to not enough RAM or processing speed.
What I do like:
1. Notes function that's simple and handy for doodling.
2. Best of cybershot functions (unfortunately, not the colors) e.g. paranoma, multishot, flash, etc.. and Walkman functions (Super Bass) in a PDA phone. Good music player that has really decent sound.
3. Wifi. Back then, this was really important to save on data charges. Those days, not many had wifi and were slim.
4. Slim and small with so many functions. Many people were surprised when I took out the stylus. They weren't expecting it.
All in all, it did match up to my expectations of an upgrade to E60. It's still going strong enough to keep me from upgrading. I'm looking at the E7 to be the replacement for this phone as it is the similar business phone with everything else as a bonus on it.

HI frnds i m using this phone from the last one yr. this is a verrrrryyyy bakwas phone pls dont go for it it is a total waiste of money it will gets hanged most of the time picture quality is third class, mene do ph liye the 1 sath and both of them are not working now nothing is good in this phone dont buy it

Anj, 07 Oct 2010my phone keeps on hanging and the screen gets darker. what ... moreswitch off and on your phone or touch the battery status bar at standby on top of the right, press Settings then touch Brightness then edit the Brightness level you like.

it doesn't recognize the M2 memory teeing me memory corrupted, trying to format it but tells unable to format, knowing that memory is working fine on my computer and other sony ericsson mobile.

about youtube i can stream videos through m.youtube.com but from the original website.i dont use core player
