Egg, 21 Aug 2008I have a problem with this phone. most of the pictures I sh... morei love sony ericsson.but i agreed with u..for me G900 is not good phone.very slow sometimes hangups n the most terrible are the batteray.i preffer SE M600i.

does anyone currently own both the G900 and the W960? which one has the better picture quality? what other similiarities are there between these two?

Ive tried this phone for 5 days.
I will compare it to my Nokia N73.
Phone is stable, no hangups, no crashes no restarts, its more stable than n73 , which loves to hangup on sending sms or receiving calls for 10-12 seconds.
User interface is very good, very intuitive ,shortcuts is a nice feature.Once again phone is not so fast as i wanted but it never hangups on me and always does what i want,and delays are acceptable.
Reception is better than n73 , i was even able to receive calls in elevator.
Sound quality while phone conversation is not good, N73 sound way better than G900.
Battery life with 2 hours of talk per day plus occasional WiFi internet browsing is 3 days.(I turned down Bluetooth and 3g and switched back WiFi only when i need it).
Web browsing is terrible, one of the reasons i wanted this phone was that i needed web browser when im traveling (to know museums and pubs locations ) , it takes like one hour to get information you want, browser is very slow and hard to control.
Overall impression is that its a good phone , very solid built , great UI.
Ive turned it down for two reasons, Sound quality and battery life. I can run n73 for 5 days if i switch off 3g, and after all its just a phone , so sound quality while phone conversation should be perfect.

I have a problem with this phone. most of the pictures I shoot are corrupted. only 1/4 up to 1/2 of the images are visible. I've missed 3 occasions without pictures due to this problem. what should I do? And it's sooooooo sllllooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww.........

let me ask......SE G900? or Nokia N95 ?or the 3G iPhone???
I have heard that the G900 battery isnt reliable,and the 5mp camera isnt of that good quality, is that right?

Hi, I'm a new user to Sony Ericsson mobile. I was a keen user of Nokia but now swithcing to Sony Ericcson. I bought G900 a week ago.. The features are great and the design is awsome, but my knowledge on how to use it is zero. I've read the operating manual but not much help. Can somebody help on how to use the camera & the video? and how to save them in a memory card? My email star.h3@gmail.com

I brought the G900 mobile phone recent. But, think that the phone design is very poor as compare with the previous phone. First the hand free connector located at the left side of phone which cause problem to hold the phone in place. Besides, the pen located at the left side is only suitable for left handed person. The start up time of phone is very slow.
Does other person have the same expericence

I bought my G900 3 weeks ago and i was very satisfied with its features, but suddenly i experienced some problem with this mobile because though i received messages, i did not hear any alert tone and message notification or the small envelop appearing on the screen when you already received a message. Why is that so? please tell me what will i do with that problem?

id rather get the g900 than the x1 cause its more me but cant say if its better as the x1 isnt out yet

Hi guys, I received my HK version G900 yesterday. Try to set up MMS settings, Im using 3G prepaid card in Melbourne. As there's no G900 in Australia so far, the tech staff can't help me. Anyone know how to set up MMS? thanks lots.
