i have the phone for about a month.. at 1st it seems to be the best phone i ever use.. but now, i not sure what happen to the touch screen.. sometimes it just cant work.. then u have to restart the phone.. same problem like se k850.. issit just the software problem or is the phone?? help help help..

Had this phone a few days. I have gone through a few phones in my time, but not by any means an expert. This phone is simply superb. I cannot think of anything else a phone might have that I'll ever need! Love the sticky notes, I use them all the time. Speaker is very good. Unbelievably good value :o)

im a g900 user. the camera quality is not as good as how i expect it to be, it's quite blur, the colour resolution is not that good as compared to w960 although both has the same colour resolution?
and i'm prompt with error when i add my words in the messaging function.
how long does your battery last? mine can only last up to 2 days when i dont use my phone much, is this normal or is there something wrong with my battery?
i need help! thanks!

This fone is amazing... have almost everything in it... Only one more thing i would have loved to have in it is GPS... does it has a GPS??? please confirm...

Jomama, 16 Jul 2008Just got this phone. Camera is amazing!! It sucks that it... moreMy G900 is not that slow, it's not fast either but not annoyingly slow. The N80 I once owned was slower than this and my friend's P990 certainly.
Contacts open for me in about a second or so. But it's been recommended that tasks you often do (text messages/calls/calendar entries etc) leave them open. They'll open immediately and despite the preconceptions about running a program will slow the phone down (like it would on a windows machine etc) this is not really the case with this phone. The program is loaded into the Ram but the processor is doing nothing until it needs to be accessed. I read this from a technician on a forum somewhere. I wish I knew the link so you could varify it yourself. Personally, I have contacts, messages and calendar open all the time and if anything, the phone is faster because these common tasks become much quicker on access.
The battery life on this phone isn't very good though. A charge at night is the norm, but so it was for my N81 and N80 as a rule.

Had the G900 a few days now and I am very happy with it. It syncs with the Mac flawlessly with a very cheap iSync plug in from Feisar.com, address book pictures, multiple phone numbers correct icons etc.
The 3G connectivity is pretty fast too despite it not being HSDPA. I don't know many people with a mobile that open full web pages anyway, mobile formatted content is the norm unless you have HSDPA phone with an unlimited data plan.
Wifi works great, really fast. A lot faster than the N81 that I used to own! Though it's a little more fiddly to set up. Before you open the web browser or to retrieve emails, you have to establish the connection first, but just one of the differences between S60 3rd edition and UIQ3 I suppose.
Camera is not as good as I would have expected, but it's better than ok. It's not as good as a cybershot of less Megapixels.
Touchscreen works well too, even with fingers, though as a rule you tend to get better input results by using a fingernail rather than a thumb!
Calls are clear and loud with good reception.
The text input options are ok too. I don't bother with handwritting except for quick notes. But I find that I can type as fast on a T9 dictionary as I can by writing by hand. You also get more words that way as small hand writing is hard due to pixel limitations.
Overall, a great phone, nice size and great design!
Metal casing would have been a better option for the design to give it a more "pro" appeal in my opinon. The Nokia 6300 has metal casing and that is a S40 platform with much lesser features and a lot smaller price.

There is some sat-nav programs available as well as google maps. I'm not 100% sure but I would guess these would work with a bluetooth GPS receiver. A friend had the P990 (same OS as G900) and Tomtom navigator worked excellent with the GPS receiver! The phone went bananas when a call was received whilst using it though, might have something to do with the early version of UIQ3?
Got the G900 myself and it's a great phone. Battery ain't so good though, but nothing really is these days unless you have a very basic phone such as Nokia1100 or something! My N81 before wasn't that good and needed a charge once every day or so.

been using this phone for 3 weeks now and its working perfectly..facing no problems..the phone can lag sometimes but that happens only once every 3 or 4 days and that too is managable..its not a long lag..the camera is moderate and the music quality and interfece everything is wonderful and easy to use even with your thumb...but then again i have only put a lot of music into my 1 gb memory card..it might slow down more if you use a higher capacity card with more softwares and themes maybe..so thats for you to find out..over and out

Just got this phone. Camera is amazing!! It sucks that it's just as slow as the w960. Hopefully I'll get used to it. What's the max M2 it'll take? bigfatblob, 14 Jul 2008I recently got a G900 for my birthday and so far i love it.... morewhat is the size of your memory card? The phone might not be able to read an 8gb or high memory card. that's why it has errors.
