well at first i found it a gr8 phone,fro few days it worked just as i expected.Aftr few month problems like non working touch screen,low volume in ear-speaker,screen getting darkend started coming up.
it went the service center 5 times till date and almost everything has been swaped and replaced form the set!!!
I would really suggest go for phones like N79 and E72 in this range!!!!

Sony Ericsson have put a great deal of effort in optimizing the UIQ user interface for thumb use. Some controls have gotten bigger - especially the multimedia and camera ones. You have a vast array of user-configurable shortcuts at your disposal to make everyday tasks easier. The Notes application has also received an upgrade and is now among the phone's main organizing features - a welcome change as we prefer notes over to-do lists for keeping track of our daily schedule. The new task manager also makes it easier to control and switch between the currently running applications.

its a good phone. its gets very fast after update. sound quality is just awesome.

The worst fone I EVER HAD! The touchscreen is actually a liability coz eventually it dies and you can only answer calls with the tuochkeys. Super slow interface also. If you need a candybar with wifi go for Motorola Motozine ZN5. No touch screen, and no 3g but superior build and 3,5mm jack. The interface was actually well designed on G900, if only it was given a better processor.

guyz listen to me.i guess everyone who bought it at first had awesome camera clarity but after a few days it got dimmed because u scratched just put a screen protector over and it will be more than perfect and camera will always be awesome

hi... am using this phone from last 8 months and on one thing i agree that its touch screen do hav some problem.. i just got my phone from service center yesterday itself. and that also after a period of 29 days...
the main problem this phone is having is its software. The tphone hav UIQ series of software and the conpany that was making this software got bankurpt in 2008.. so itz really difficult to get the parts of this hone as sony had stop manufacturing this product since that.. they r just selling the stock which they hold.. so in my opinion dont buy this phone as after 1 year when warrenty gets over, this phone will become very expensive to get repair as its parts are not available..

hey guyz!when the time i was canvasing to buy cellphone i was in the middle of confuse bcoz i don't know how to choose a good one,so my friend told me to search first before to buy a new one.since then, i found out i like the g900 but i'am not already to bought a g900.somebody help me if the g900 is suit for me?i'am looking forward...!thanks!

I have a G900 now.This is a good phone & it takes wonderful pictures.but its video recorder is very bad.

if you love the phone you will be very carefull with it. i dont think touchscreens will get damaged if you havent done something that will damage it ofcourse. mine is still working fine same as with my bf's phone. we love it

well this phone has been discontinued already probably because of the problems. in fairness to G900, it is very elegant looking, ergonomics is good(only if they have just added also a keypad for the calls and options softkeys), and many great features(just too much that the phone can't handle everything of it).

This phone is a very 3rd class or u can say bakwas phone plsssssssssss my request to all pls dont go for it the features they show is very good but they dont work at all time to time it will hang and the touch will not work only after the 4 or 5 month i bought two phones for me and my girlfriend but both of the phones are giving the same problesms its a total waiste of money choise is yours

i have been using this phone for about a year.
Drop it a many times, and yet it still work as normal. more solid phone comparing ither touch screen phones.
surfing the net, sometimes lag and hang. so its only for light users, and not heavy users of wifi.
for the camera, at the begginnig was good, and then it becomes blurrer image, compared to my friends 2mp phone withpyut auto focus.
Overall tocuh screen is easy, sms easy, has document viewer, and also has an office which is very conveninet.
FOR THe price you pay, its WORTH it. GOOD work sony.

Well at first it was nice... but it failed slowly... First, the top panel (cover of earpiece & front camera) peeled off. i just taped it back w/ a double sided adhesive tape. then just now the touch screen doesn't work anymore... im gonna let this problem go only if it doesn't bring me trouble in accepting calls or selecting some options since there is no alternative keys for the bottom panel of the touch screen display (right/left softkeys). im already canvassing for a new one.

Though the same is being sold as Blaceberry ready, however did not find it user friednly. The applications are so slow and cumbersome that it takes about 30sec to open a SMS.
The phone is worst ever i have seen.
