This phone is damn lagging! I tried it at the sony ericsson display booth and after pressing the button, it took very long for it to go to the function. DAMN LAG!

its easier to use than P1i because it has the D-pad and a normal keyboard.
the interface is much simpler and intended for touch based navigation
plus 5mp camera which produces very vibrant colors.
the trade off is that it has smaller screen and its casing is plastic.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2008can someone teach me how to change the G900's default blue ... moreyou need to hack it first. see UIQ hacking forums for proper instruction.
Its safe and its actually quite easy once you got a hang of it. Do the permanent hack so that you can change the icon without using a PC.
avoid the sound modding though, it is a bit risky.

what do you want to search? the sms or the contact?
if in sms, you can search a word on sms messages
in contacts, you can either search just the first name or the last name depending on how you display your contacts

You're telling me that yet you're the person using Multimedia media entertainment devices to do heavy office applications, LOL i think YOU need to get help, ever heard of a WM device? HTC make them, those would be perfect for you. The person who wanted to get either the N81 or G900 didnt even care for such use of office apps, they want a entertainment device and the N81 is a lot better at that.
Ps. I hope you weren't a P990 User cause you would have whined and cried like a baby with its ram leakage.
