Processor speed 208MHz = it's mean slow ?
2.4" touchscreen = so tiny for finger touch ?
Lacks 3.5mm audio jack = cannot plug in ur own headset ?
Memory stick micro(M2) = more expensive than microSD/microSDHC/miniSD ?

I'm looking forward in getting this phone. Can anyone tell me if this phone lack? I've purchased another model of the S.E. for not even 2 months, haven't load a single song, not over 50 pics in the device and the phone lacks all the time.
Pls advise...

It is already known that the Sony Ericsson's G900 operates on version 9.1 of Symbian OS and UIQ 3.0 and also that it is equipped with the touch screen

nate, 01 Jul 2008yeah, really! cmon GSMarena, you promised us a review weeks... morethe camera is poor in 5mp terms...so thats one down, but if you just resize those 5MP shots on your PC they come pretty good.
Speed is a different matter, I feel the system operates fairly well on the phone, the only bother is when you open the messaging application (which takes 5 seconds), however once messaging is in the task manager it is fast. (I just open messaging and leave it there)
I feel i must criticise the photo transitioning, it is slow and extremely annoying, i wish SE develop some way of disabling it so that you can scroll through photos without the bloody animation!
But, its a great phone, really glad i got one.

Your demands are filled in by this phone, except that you claim the reliability is bad. In what ways? Has anyone had some experiences with the OS failing? I thought Symbian was a good reliable system.
Please review it GSMArena, I'm curious about the camera quality and menu speed. I know it's not the best camera but if it's as good/bad as the K850i camera (except for the flash) like Smape says I'd dig it :)

the G900 is touted as taking up to 8Gb, but the sales staff recommend using only a 4Gb M2 card. What gives?

I have talked with many sellers and there is not much interest from the buyers.
I myself tried the model, and tried more than one and I was not happy with performance and built quality.
I was told that there were many returns to exchange it for a different model. The main reason is its reliabily.
I wish SE would come out with a thin, reliable, smart phone (WLAN, Touchscreen, 5mp camera, etc.). I think it would be a big hit. The X1 is too big for my taste.
