hello guys, i just got the phone here in U.A.E, it cost me 2550 AED which is equivalent to 690$, i think this price is with a premium cause i got one of the first pieces here... the phone is great.. its better than the P1 except the keyboard. the qwerty on the P1 still rocks.

I;m planning to buy a new fone this june 08 and i think P1i is better considering the following:
1. same features
2. p1i larger screen
3. better build quality
4. cheaper price
so i'll buy p1i next week.....hehehehe

but if you don't like the rocker qwerty keypad of the P1 (like I do)...

Go to the SE main homepage and compare this phone with another smart phone like the P1i to decide if you need this phone or not:

There if very little to seperate the 2. The only thing it does better than the P1i is that it has better camera facilities like red eye eduction, photo fix, mobile blogging etc. From what i have read, it is going to be more expensive than the P1i and it is not worth buying if you have the P1i or similar.. If you don't then go for it:)

I have a P1i and i have just compared the specs. They are quite similar(literally). I dont take photos so i won't be changing my phone anytime soon.lol

g900 is not yet available here in saudi arabia but i guess it would not be more than $600. if the price tag is $700 or above, this device will hurt my wallet for sure... and if i'm patient enough and wait maybe around 3 months, as the price usually drops by 20% (more or less), then i can have this awesome device... thanks SE!!!

this telephone is good but i think its expensive in azeribaijan do you know way there are not rech people in our country it means its imposible i wont to buy this telephone insallah i will buy i think 5 megapixels is old in the moderen world there a lot of telephone are 5 pixels old thik but apperiance isn t bad so good ok.good luck sonyerickson

I got my G900 yesterday (in Sweden). I love it! It's really a good phone!
Too bad it's so slow. But it doesn't matter så much to me.. i like it anyways. :)
If you're considering buying it, do it!

Yes it's true. It can play all video formats! for me the best player for UIQ3 is coreplayer. there are also powermovie, divx and smartmovie.

how can this phone have a considerably lower score than the SE U700?... makes NO sense!!!wtf??? nokia fans huh? cant possibly be any other reason for it... please use the forum/voting system for what they are intended for! grow up people..get a life

If SE does what did in the case of W890 the price will be high!
But, if people decide to wait then the price will come down significantly.
W890 came out with a 500 USD price tag (not less anywhere), but after only 6 weeks the price dropped over 35%. The current price is just above 300 USD.
Yes, that phone has some problems. But the market saturated. SE loosing its market share while other companies gaining big time.
I hope this phone will not have any reliability problems, and the price will be reasonable after a short amount of time.
Let only the fanatics pay the excessive price after all ˝SE RULES˝ ;)
People compare g900 and N82 - I do not know any of them well.
It seems the N82 has good features but thicker and has no touchscreen, but has some good features.
The problems (potential) with the G900:
- reliability
- camera quality
- price
Now, the N82 is about 400-450 USD.
G900 should cost the same or less.

klabusterbeere, 27 May 2008what's so low about 8.2? I think it's an adequate result... morewhat u comparing the 5mp cam on this phone with?? n82 right?? the n82 is a CAMERA ORIENTATED PHONE. The processors seem more than adequate for this phone. And here is a quotes taken from SMAPE.COM comparing the 2 phones: The G900 seems to be a better option as long as the camera functionality / overall functionality ratio is concerned. :)
