Where did you by your g900 already?
It's interesting - you're the first person who says that P1i is faster than g900.
If that's realy true or the g900 is only just as fast (or better lame) as P1i, it is out of competition for me and I'll wait for the N78.

nice video!
Have to ask (to anyone having the opportunity to test the phone): having seen this new video, and comparing it to all the other videos of the G900 on Youtube... has it really become faster? and can it now do the swipes like an iPhone?
Or is this typical promotional videos?

UIQ is, just as S60 a user interface based on Symbian.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UIQ
WLAN you'll be able to configure just like for other devices like notebooks. The G900 will support the common security standards like WPA2. You can also set up automaticaly network searching and connecting. But WLAN costs a lot of battery. So I suppose you'll not be able to use it more than 2 to 3 hours without recharging.

It depends on what you want.
G900 has Toch screen and wlan.
The C902 as a cyber shot phone has a much better camera and HSDPA.
So if good photo quality is important to you C902 is the better choice. But be aware that GPS is also missing in this device, which is, in my opinion, a strong drawback for a photo phone in these days because of the non-given possibility of geo-tagging.
On the other hand the G900 seems to offer a lot of fun and usability.
If you plan to use Internet in wlan hotspots the G900 is the better fit. If you want to have/pay for fast internet access everywhere (and your provider supports HSDPA) you better take the G902.
By the way. G900 seems to be released within the next two weeks.

@mD6Y
If you would know amazon's general terms and conditions you would know that if you pre-order the phone for the given price now you'll get it for that amount of money, regardless of a possible later markup. Yet, if the price should fall until the release you'll get the product for that lower price. And in many of the other shops listed by idealo.de it's handled the same way.
Instead of trying to deny facts you should deliver proof for your price-statements (and please not your own ebay offer...)

What is the meaning of UIQ? I know what s60 is for nokia with symbian o.s. but UIQ my brothers, I realy don't get it.
And what about WLAN. What are the steps that I have to fallow to navigate internet using wlan? I apreciate any ancer.

@ mD6Y
you should do a little research before you disgrace yourself...
Take a look at amazon.de (search for "g900 brown") - and there are offerings at lower prices (go for idealo.de "sony g900")

It's always funny to read infantile posts which has nothing to do with objectiveness but only with subjective preferences for a phone brand...
For me both phones, Nokia's N78 and SE's G900 are very promising.
At the moment i tend toward the G900.
Face to face with the N78 I see advantages / drawbacks in
(+++) touch screen and all the features related to that point (stickies etc.)
(+++) handling! (N78's keys are looking way too samll!)
(++) look (just my subjective opinion)
(+) phone size (a little thinner and lighter)
(--) no gps (which isn't an important feature to me but is definitly nice to have)
(-) camera (5 mpx says little about the photo quality - much more important is a good objective (N98 has a carl zeiss!))
(-) no HSDPA (which is in fact not important to me because my provider doesn't support it neither)
(?)But my strongest worries are about the system performance of the G900: The system is based on UIQ 3.0 and comes with the 208 Mhz Philips Nexperia PNX4008 which is exactly the same platform the P1i is build on. And the P1i is definitly too slow. But you hear rumores about a good G900 performance.
I will give the SE phone a try. If it turns out to be as slow as the P1i it'll go to the bay and I'll buy the N78.

Does anyone know if this model's message ringtone is longer than 10 seconds like nokia's? Cause i've used a few SE models previously. Love their designs & features only thing i don't like is their 10 seconds message ringtone.
