Do not worry - any scratch would not make a difference - image quality is poor anyway.

It looks like the camera lense could be scratched easily as there is no protection...

i agree with 'flavor'. some people actually prefer basic design to hide impressive features. because the 'stylish phones' can so easily become outdated within months. flashiness is not the same as quality. don't be 'ruled' by the high regard you have of your own opinion

hmm...i'm quite excited to see the final product...what i would just hate to see is if the camera is still as slow and poor in the final product. i think that would determine if i'd buy it or not in the end.
about the whole (tedious and trifling) argument between nokia and sony ericsson, yes, nokia specs is often better on paper, but the balance of performance SE has been known to deliver is what makes some people feel it is more value for the price. interface usability and reliability is why i choose sony ericsson a little over nokia, even if it is "inferior" by, what, 0.2 inches or some irreelevant miniscule kbps. to impose your preference of brand on others is just too childish.

Viewing the GSM preview, I realize that SE still cannnot perform a great 5mp camera. After take a look at the sampleas, the 3mp of the G700 looks much better...

I have the Sony Ericsson w810i. I'm waiting for the G900 to change my phone. So hurry up. And i think it will be the first WIFI sony ericsson phone and I like the 5 megapixel. Mine is 2megapixel.

Why don´t you compare SE G900 with Nokia N96 and let us know the results (how many tech specs was better and worst)

˝IMHO design is very simple, no WOW factor˝ in other words - so simple that a 10-year old could draw it! NOT make it but draw it! Image of something is not an actual object. I know for some it is difficult concept.

This Sony Style has no style!
An ugly piece of junk - and that is my opinion and I am entitled to it.
Facts: no outstanding features combined with Sagem-look.
For over $500USD or even more could be $700 , having a 2.4˝screen is a joke.
No GPS, and it has only 160MB while there are phones with 16GB in the same or similar price range.
It is not a quad phone!!!!

So any ideas if it has a more powerful Xenon flash than N82? I mean, it's supposed to be sort of a cameraphone, isn't it? IMHO design is very simple, no WOW factor

I wish there was a bronze version like the G700, I really don't like the red and brown colours of the G900.

High-end phone to the masses???
SE too expensive, too big (thick) and generally have too small screens - with limited features.
This particular one it is also ugly - like Sagem or other 3rd grade phones. My 10-year old could draw a better and nicer phone.
this is not trolling!!!
I am truly disappointed. W890 is nice but the sceen too small and it will be very expensive since it lacks some nice features.

i wish SE opted the design of C702 for G900, then it will going to be super cool. anyways the design of G900 is not bad, just find it quite conservative though
