Please guide ... moreyou have to go to "contacts" from the main menu. then select "more" option. then go to "view folder". in this option you can select to view "all phone contacts" or "sim" contacts. also you can select your phone contacts and copy them to phone memory and vice versa.

Hi experts, i am a new user of Sony Ericsson. Please guide me how to select "phone memory or sim memory" like Nokia. i like to keep all my contacts in phone memory. it seems G900 is a good phone. Thanks in advance!!

It always hungs,touch screen sucks and you cant receive calls,cover pills off.

Hi all, i bought this phone and later realised that its os is now officially dead. No updates, no supports. See below quote from my-symbian site for confirmation:

I have bought sony ericsson G900.Within a month it gave me a bad experience in the name of Sony Ericsson G900.
This phone hanges 10 to 20 times a day with a messaage "Dump file created".
I suggest do't go for this phone, otherwise it is upon u.

I read more about your opinions, i was sad because i love (SE+ 5 MP+ UIQ3+Touch screen) and you always say bad things about it.
but after that accidentaly i bougth, so here is my opinion about G900:
1)First of all battery of G900 is excellent, for example i fully charged the battery before one and half day and now it is 64%.
2)5 MP Camera is good.
3)Sound quality is brilliant.
4)Touch sreceen is awesome.

Just wanna say that this is a great phone. After read so many bad reviews of this phone I still buy it. Used for more than 1 month now and everything is perfect for me. The hand writing, camera, back light, games, FM radio, Quick Office for simple document editing... everything is perfectly fit into this phone. Some downside to the battery life... If used FM radio for about 5 hours, answer and make about 10 calls, the battery can stand for only 1 day. But I bought a secondary battery and desktop charger to solve the problem. Great phone for business users.

Anonymous, 22 May 2009what's the latest firmware for this phone? what do you type... morethe "xplore" software can give you the phone iemi. you can download the free trial from the (www.lonelycatgames.com). also you can use this code to go to hiden menu of sony ericsson phones and see the detail hardware and software specs.{forward * back back * back *}. you have to push the above written buttons in the bracket respectivly. forward means the foreward button of joystick and back is the back button.

Anonymous, 21 May 2009my g900 can't play 3gp videos. any solution?maybe you should lower the resolution of the video you are playing. i think anything bigger than 320x240 will not be playable

Hi! Your problem is that you can't play any video's on G900? Be sure you are connected to Wi-Fi and not to GPRS. Wi-Fi's max speed is 54Mbps only that is if your the only one whose using the net, but when there are other people who's connected in the same net expect it to be slower as connection is devided to the people who is connected in the same net. Loading Video's in the net via G900 is a bit slow but it do work on me and no need to install other software for it. On Pictures Opera Browser doesn't show the picture as you open the website, you have to click the link first before they show up (ex: friendster.com; when you login in a laptop the photos already shown in the front page, in G900 you have to click there name or profile and check the link "fonts are blue" before you can see the link.
For the Photoshop. Just go to Sony Ericsson website then choose your country, Go to Support then Software Downloads, then on the middle left side choose your phone model "G900" and there you can see the downloadable photoshop for G900. About the CD, mine works fine if your cd isnt working on your pc to phone download the software it is also in the same page as the photoshop.

If the phone is easily scratched and paint will removed?! I've been using this phone for 8 months and I already drop it to the floor few times now well i dont see any scratched not the paint fades. Just have problems with the screen as it is not fingerprints free. :)

Can't play 3gp format?! G900 has a specific format for 3gp. If you have a converter, be sure that your converter will convert in to this format "3GPP+AAC"; 3GPP+AMR and 3GP2+AAC is not working for G900. You can download other 3rd party player to play other formats like DIVX, XDIV, AVI, etc.

There's a catch in this phone, have you ever tried using the frames on camera of G900? :)
