disappointed x 10000000000!!!!!!!!!!!!
when i first got this i was already disappointed with it's camera especially when i take pictures in a dimmer environments! but i'm not here to talk about its camera or its function...i'm here because i seriuosly think that this phone has the biggest problem physically! the housing is terrible! everything is stick on! itz only been 5 months and many parts are already falling off! i replaced it's housing recently and once again the stick on parts are falling off and this time, more of it are coming off! im totally disappointed with this phone!

I couldn't flash on while taking pictures , flash mode is in gray icon and unable to turn on flash. Help me pls.

Arrgh! I think I've made a serious mistake; I put a bid on an eBay G900 last night and was relieved when I was outbid with 30 minutes left to go and home today to be greeted by a bid retraction email from the winning bidder making me the highest bidder by default.
I'm expecting pain; I've owned a W950i before so I kinda know what to expect interface wise but the G900 has a few more interesting tricks up its sleeve. Even though it’ll be as underpowered as the w950i was but at least it has a d-pad instead of a useless jog wheel. I just don’t understand why Sony Ericsson would produce an underpowered smartphone brimming with outdated technology, give it a limited production run of approximately 5 months then drop it like its their bunny boiling ex-girlfriend; I mean COMPLETELY drop it, user support gone, operating system gone. If you don’t believe my try searching for it on the Sony Ericsson site; if you’re lucky you’ll get a few page references and links to the standard 404 error page. It’s scary; I think Sony Ericsson may be shuffling across the floor for the last dance in the last chance saloon.
Well if all else fails I can sell it on and stick to my beloved w760i.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970It depends on what features you want on the cellphone. I tried out both cellphones and found that the 5800 camera is not good but the response time of the touchscreen is very fast. The G900 camera is very satisfactory but the touchscreen response is slow. Music is same quality. 5800 is more application friendly (of course its nokia). So its up to you. Hope you find this helpful and before you buy try out both phones first at the store

I bought this last week and was satisfied with it. Now I'm a bit disappointed because the icons does not change even if you change the themes. you have to Mod the device to change it where it will invalidate the warranty that you have so if anybody can find a way to change the icons without modding it, it will really be a convinience. Some Java applications and games (especially Meboy - gameboy emulator) runs very slow. I think this cellphone does not have a very powerful RAM, ROM or whatever. I think this was rushed in production. But still currently am content with it.

so far i don't have any problem with the signal. about the slow movement, for me it is normal not very slow or fast..
just don't open many application at the same time, and try to end task all the application that u r not using it in task manager.. and try to not press any button at many times..

I just bought this phone to upgrade my last P1 and because X1 is to expensive.
you know guys, I have always been the great fan of "P"-series.
And I miss my, P900, P910, P1, because this G900 has nothing to do with them, this phone just sucks.
if you want to buy a similiar phone, just point at P1. That is the last good symbian phone.

i think u can update with wi fi. but i havent try yet.
u can lock ur screen simply just press the keys lock button on the right side of the phone. it will automatically lock ur screen n keys.
about bbc,i never use that one.
anyway i just found the best things of the camera. it takes good quality picture when morning. n also when take picture of articles,books,everything that have words. u can zoom in clearly. n also help cheating when doing exam. hahaha.
