that must've cost u a fortune...
but now I'm well into my third month, it hasn't been having any major problems before...

Just waste ur money! Problems everywhere! Uiq 3 was dead..worst 5mp cam, slow cpu speed but power hungry,crash frequently,touchscreen stop working..n very2 expensive! Poor g900..

BopZ, 14 Jan 2009wow, I'm having my first major problem with my set today. ... moreit happened to me too in the first days. i have this mobile since six weeks only and its crap. am trying to sell it. i had to buy a new screen already, as it got broken. this mobile is the worst i ever had. i regret having switched from nokia to sony.

Hi guys...I just had dis phone for 2 week.The function cool but it too slow for such a UIQ interface.The camera was so so b'coz b4 using this phone,I being with LG viewty for 1 year..Anyway I still like this(G900) very much..

wow, I'm having my first major problem with my set today.
it keeps on turning off by itself.
before it turns off, the screen turns dark, and I can't see anything, AT ALL...
the worst thing is I can't use the phone, obviously...
almost every time I try to turn it on, my phone dies again after I put in my phone lock code...
it hangs during the forming of the SE logo as well...
when I can turn it on, it lasts only for a few minutes, about 30 at the most before it starts to turn off again...
sometimes the contrast of the screen becomes a mess, it becomes extremely slow, and not long after it dies again...
I have no idea what happened...
it worked fine in the morning...
I'm going to send it to the SE guys tomorrow and I really hope that they can fix it...

Good phone but it doesnt support applications on the sim card.WHY?

I've had this phone 6 months and I REALLY HATE IT! The only reason i keep it is coz i've said so much evil against Nokia N series that if i bought one, my friends would never let me hear the end of it! SE has left a huge gaping hole in the market - such that I'm stuck with this piece of crap! There is no upgrade besides the Xperia - and the price difference with Xperia is too huge, this is poor marketing to leave such a massive hole in your product portfolio. Sad that they killed UIQ - the interface itself is great - it was just the poor hardware that let it down, particularly g900's lack of physical softkeys. That simple addition would have made this a stellar handset - together with a better cam. I may have to get an s60 samsung - but i equally dislike s60, UIQ is soooo much better.

G900 is a symbian phone and new series in 2008. I also dont know why the screen is so small can be used for touchscreen ah
Bad
1. Screen very small not suitable for touchscreen will easily touch other types of applications.
2. Camera is normal Function also normal

If the camera is not good...do take it to service centre. If they don't rectify it. Take the case to consumer forum. thats the best suggestion i have

Overall though I think it's a great phone, and the cameras not TOO bad.

You know, if the button doesn't work you can assign any program you have on your phone to it and change the icon. The optimal size of the icon in png format is 57x57. There are many icons available on the net, just change the size of it, save in the phone and use the in the design. The bigger image is, the bigger it shows on the phone. Browse the options and you'll find many interesting things. You know, there are some GDesk plugins, like clock (set the icon and assign a gdesk clock to it), shortcuts, task manager. In my last post i mentioned the website where are the available designs for download. The iphone is cool and my vista is good as well. Currently i'm using one of my own.

Im really interested in G900 because of its wifi feature. but im kind disappointed because of your comments here regarding the picture qality and the problem with time settings? what do you think is the best wifi phone of SE? tnx!
