Karthik, 18 May 2010Yesterday got my Hazel(RED).
My initial feedback:
- Lit... moredhcp problem you mention is probably due to you router settings. i have a d-link dsl-2640r router with dhcp turned on. i had some problems with my router and wireless connections before, but my hazel connects without problem (dhcp is on).
as for facebook, try with opera mobile browser. among many other useful features, it compresses data via opera servers, so your web pages load much faster and use less bandwidth. facebook works like a charm.

Yesterday got my Hazel(RED).
My initial feedback:
- Little slow in response under certain tabs.
- Phone got hang & came back to life after a noticable delay(4-5sec)
- Shuldn't use LED flash while taking a picture. It renders pinkish colour at the center of the subject, where the flash is focussed.
- Speaker / microphone voice ampliude is far far less than the other mobiles from Sony.
- I am hearing a echo while the noise shield is off.
- Unable to connect to Facebook through wifi. Need to research more
- Wifi connection is not supporting DHCP. Even though successfully connected, one has to input IP address / Subnet mask / Gateway & DNS manually -> This will be a really bad experience. SE has to rectify this in the upgrades.
- The quality of FM, seems to be sub par with other versions of SE. Its evident since its not a music edition.
- Internal model name is coined as j20i. I personally dont like the j-series. I was using k & W series.
Pls check the in-service tests before buying 1.
Still i am ok with this phone, since i objective is to own a touch from SE. I will use this phone for a while and then shift to another 1. With a hard heart, i am giving rest to my faithful k-750i, which has served me well for the past 4 yrs.

i hava GPRS connection enabled...Is that enough for working with GPS..Else shud i pay sepaatly for GPS... confused on this .......Kindly help guys

guys, i just bought this phone, and there is no ssms threaded view feature..
anyone know how to get those? because i already update the firmware, but stil no that feature..
and after updating, my widget feature is gone too.. i want to get that back.. anyone can help?

neverthless that code memo was not an obstacle in the phone developement and would not cost anything to keep it part of the menu ,and SE should not have remomoved it anyway

Which one should I go for among C903 and Hazel if I consider better music, both through loudspeaker as well as through headphones?? Is a memory card bundled along with both the C903 and Hazel in India?? Plz reply.
