What a bunch of messy comments we get here, as usual.
They can both carry up to 16 GB. Both have Wi-Fi, same everything. As mentioned in the previews (and the review) there are some minor differences;
The Hazel is a slide (with the good and bad that comes with that, my comment). On the other hand the Elm is thinner and lighter, and has a more accentuated shape, with perhaps even better ergonomics.
The Hazel has a slightly larger display, and 16M colours.
The size and shape of the buttons are a little different on the two models.
It is said that the Hazel has a mineral glass covered display.
The Elm has a back cover of metal, Hazel is all plastic.
That should be all.
These GreenHeart phones look great; Wi-Fi, A-GPS and an excellent 5MP camera combined with Widgets in this price range is very, very good. In fact among the cheapest 5MP Wi-Fi phones in most markets. The GreenHeart initiative is very good; if they can move to some recycled materials, environmentally better paint etc. without people noticing this can only be a very good step.

Tyler, 13 Apr 2010 i'm sick and tired of waiting forever for sony ericsson ph... moredude Just wait, look at the Other Side! The Elm! See it was released because it is not a Slide its only a Normal Typed Hazel! that has no Slide and more lower space and more!... that is you just need to wait at Hazel because look It has many nice Specifications like the WiFi and the 16GB Memory they just need time to refix the Hazel so it wont be bad... get it :)

I've send a mail to SE Benelux to ask what screen they fitted. He confirmed by mail that it is a 262.144 pixel screen. But half a day later I check the SE site in Dutch and see that they've changed it to 16,777,216 color TFT. They we're really playing with my feet, or had badly informed Customer Service.

Incorrect; it mentions very clearly on both the US and European websites that 16 GB support is possible on both phones.

On the official SE website it mentions that it only has 262.000 colors. And everywhere else they say 16000.000. What's up with that.

elm is better than hazel because hazel is sliding while elm is single. elm is wifi also and not that expensive. while hazel it is easy to be breaken because it is sliding and it is more expensive than elm. :0

Well seeing the Hazel is 1: Able to use up to 16gb micro sd, Elm can only use 8... i mean there are very minor points to tell the phones apart, but i think anyone would be happy with either.... =]
