as far as Keypad lock is concerned I Think it does not supports more than the keypad lock. You may be finding a security code option to lock the keypad but it's not there.
Coming to the messages you can backup them on your PC using the PC Suite sony ericsson provides. it's on their website. this PC suite will in turn help you to connect your phone to your PC or Laptop to use your Phones GPRS Pack to surf the Internet
If you don't find the PC Suite there would be software called PC Companion Us Can Use it As Well.
And Be suer to Update your Phones Software Too.

- copying the messages to system..? Interesting, but could you pls elaborate what system that you meant
- pc suit is preinstalled in the phone memory. The first time you connect it to the computer it will ask you whether you want to install pc suit or not (I didn't)

nani, 15 Jun 2011can it supports and play HD videos? I hate to sound rude but why the hell are you gonna put HD videos on a 2.6 screen with 240x320 resolution? even if it did play you won't see the difference between an HD vid and a regular 320x240 vid on a 2.6 QVGA screen.
and to answer your question no it won't play, heck even a pentium 4 computer barely has just enough processing power to play 720p HD videos.

I've been using this for precisely 1 yr + 8 days, and still, never got my phone hangs or restarting. A bit slow maybe, such as when browsing +3000 pics and photos (1- 8 megapixels) in media player. However multitasking is great, I could run in the same time 4 internet browsers (opera 4.3 and 6, uc, bolt) while playing songs with music player. In short, my only problem is signal reception! That's it.
