I didnt buy hazel. I got my w995 from a shop called 'm1 the phone shop' in kollupitiya liberty plaza in november with 1year hardware and sofware warrenty. 37000/=. Shop owners number is 0777577678 at the busness card he gave. U can cal and check whether they have the hazel in their shop. My w995 phone has no problems yet. I cannot get any responsibilty of the products of the shop. Im telling because ur asking. And got another w995 for another person from a shop called 'premier telecom service' in mt livinia. 39000/=. They have the hazel for 27,900/=. 1year hardware worrenty 1year software worrenty i think. Peaple say it is a good shop. If u want more info sms me then i can type in sinhala, coz my english is bad. 077 077 87 97

The sonyericsson secret code is,
> * < < * <
< = left.
* = star
> = right

Try this code on a friends sonyericsson phone before u go.
And dont forget to see the beauti of the Red phone at the shop, even if u buy the black. (Dont u think the black phone is looks like a nokia model)
But the both phones are beautifull.
Anyway, if the above info is not correct, hazel users please correct the info for him...
Thats only i can say, because im not a hazel user.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2011thanks 4 ur reply, most probably, i'll buy the Hazel, but ... moreah, i wish i could help you there too, but sorry boss, actually i dont know how to recodnize the new or older batch. I think the shop-keeper is the only one knows it.
But i have a long suggestion answer,
first u must find out (ask someone) about the hazel new batchs software number and old batch software number.
Then when u r going to buy the 4n, insert the sonyericsson secret code. Then in that menu, goto service info, and to software info. There u may be able to findout the software info and its new batch or not.
May be this will work but i cannot get the responsibility if u r getting to trouble any how. i just found out now, that, u can enter the sonyericsson code without inserting sim card (i tried it just now).
So things wil be easy now.
Go to the shop. Get the 4n to hand. Turn On it. The phone will say insert the sim card. Press the sonyericsson code. Find out about software info. Then u can decide to take it or leave it.
Now u only need to find about the new and old software info from hazel users.

most probably, i'll buy the Hazel, but i'm waiting 4 the black one.. thanks 4 ur explanation about the "w", but i'm not too much into music, it's a cell-phone first of all.. that doesn't mean i'm not listing(i SOMETIMES listen).. the two things that worry me are:
* the battery backup
* the signal problems
but someone says that in the new batch, SE has overcomed these problems..
HOW CAN I KNOW IT'S THE NEW OR THE OLD ONE...?????

I know that hazel supports wifi, but some people said they open utube-i mean the web site- but when they come to play the videos they can't though if they used the paid GPRS they can watch the videos they wanted..
so,
1- How come that the mobile has wifi and this happen?
2- If this is a problem, can it be solved?

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2011comparing to w810 which 1 is louder with the same song??From speaker? If my w810 was a brand new, it's absolutely louder than Hazel, too bad now the speaker is a bit broken, and its sound is not that loud as it used to be.

But this is what makes I more love my Hazel: using hpm 70 headsets I might say that w810 has deeper bass sound mainly if I selected eq to mega bass, but when I used sennheiser mx471 earphones connect with 3.5 jack adapter of hpm70, Hazel's sound totally outshined w810 performance, richer and much louder sound, all the equalizer options becoming great, I like to repeat a song and hear by change the eq option. This is not working with w810, it improved a little, but not that as it has done with hazel. I'm wondering if maybe SE has designed hpm70 and its next generation dedicated to walkman series...

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2011ok, then how many phones do u have? i juz want to compare t... moreI also have SE k810, k660, w810, k530, w980 (R.I.P) and w960 (R.I.P), Nokia 6300, e90, n95-8gb, 5130, Bb gemini and 9800 torch. [I dont have android phone :( ] I could say the loudness can be comparable (or maybe slightly lower) to nokia 6300 but Hazel with much better sound quality (it is softer than the irritating sounds from 6300 speaker).

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2011thanx mate for the reply, but what i really mean by the ear... morevery clear! if you're in a quiet room you can hear the sound soft and clear, you might be worry if you can't hear thru the earpiece if you are standing on a busy noisy street. But it's not! The phone will cleverly adjust the volume so you can barely hear clearly the sound from the other end.
