like I said it is a phone with a camera not a camera with a phone. ^_^ and it's cheap for it's feature set

rocker, 03 Sep 2010ok if you will see carefully so you'll find out some weird ... morecolor lines on daylight? yours must be defective, It never ever had these color lines on daylight photos. Just look at the phone photos at esato under Elm/Hazel you'll see there's definitely no color lines on daylight photos, view it at full 5mp

rocker, 03 Sep 2010ok if you will see carefully so you'll find out some weird ... moresony ericsson phone's camera is much better dan nokia's i hav nokia 5800 3.2 mp the da pics taken from it is very very bad its like a 1mp clarity tha dual flash is useless .no diferrence wid and wid out flash.SE hazels pics are very good in daylight but in dark they r ok after all no phone can give awesome pics not even a digi cam.

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2010this phone is good, let me remind people, it's a phone with... moreok if you will see carefully so you'll find out some weird color lines in day light picturs also , and in dark lines are very visible and sharp . so what is the use of it if you are paying for camera and that's not good , actualy you are not paying , you are ruining your money.i also asked the people about this phone before purchasing and checked reviews which were very good but in real hazel and elm not good.if you do not care about camera so just buy it......i don't care afterall it's your money ,your choice................

rocker, 03 Sep 2010hey guys if any one is planing to buy this scrap please avo... morethis phone is good, let me remind people, it's a phone with a camera, not a camera with a phone, besides that, gsmarena already reviewed this phone and I own it myself and there nothing wrong with their review. The people here who are saying this phone is total crap then don't be cheap, buy a super high end phone for yourself.
Camera is excellent at DAYLIGHT photos, easily puts even some digital cameras to shame in daylight shots. not for use for night photos, that is where you should use a camera that has a xenon flash.
anyway for its price, a great looking phone with great 5mp camera for daylight shooting, and has WiFi and also has excellent audio, It's definitely worth it's price =D

hey guys if any one is planing to buy this scrap please avoide this phone.this phone and elm has serious camera problem . i recently bought elm and i am very disappointed . there are are many people who are facing camera problem with elm and hazel.I WILL NEVER BUY SE PHONE EVER ,ELM WAS MY FIRST AND LAST SE PHONE .I WANT YOU TO NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THIS SE SCRAP.GO FOR NOKIA ITS FAR BETTER THAN SE................

sshah, 03 Sep 2010thanks do we get good clearity while taking zoom photo is V... more I tell you, digital zooming is THE MOST USELESS features if it can't be used on the highest picture size setting (I personally think it is useless in every aspect). A 2x zoom of VGA picture equals to a QVGA size pict shown on the same screen, while a VGA pic itself is a 16x zoom of a 5 MP picture... do you agree?

Ashwin, 01 Sep 2010so the hazel s just amazing !! lets wait for a few more mon... moreI love all sony ericsson especially my P1i but my biggest problem with sony ericsson headsets, please improve the quality because they dont last for more than 4 months. i have already bought 3 of them and i encountered a similar problem with of them.

Flash is one thing, but another bad thing about the camera: it takes quite a long time for the phone to autofocus (longer than any phone I've used). So in some cases when you want to capture a brief moment, it can be disappointing.

It wasn't supplied with memory card and usb data cable in the box, and only got poor stereo headset. I myself had no problem with those things since already have them from my previous SE phones, including a high end SE earphones with 3.5 mm adapter and an Altec Lansing active speakers ready to connect. In short everything was ready when I got this.
Ya I hate they omitted some interesting application from prev models cos some were also useful for me.
The only moments the camera flash is useful are when use it for macro mode photos and for focus assistance. This is a phone with camera for outdoor or good light conditions only, when in these situations, I'm really satisfied with the results.
Now the choice is yours :)

., 03 Sep 2010As long as you're not browsing them - picture after picture... morewow, thats encouraging... i really wanna buy tis phone as i love sony's ui, sick for nokia n samsung... but its a little costly... i am also considering naite and cedar...
btw is the flash really a problem at night, many comments here say it focuses in the middle of the picture... n its doesnt have a 3.5 mm jack... i will also be missing applications like code memo, music/photo/video dj which isnt there in this phone...

I store in my phone card more than 1,400 pictures and photos with various size from 1 MP to 8 MP, and never found my phone hangs even once, I do lot downloading pics from the net (OperaMini) and then check the new pictures in the gallery without closing the browser...and took a time changing the song track on media player, and post my reply for you with another version of OperaMini (I use both v4.2 and v5.0 and both are running right now) :)
