If you're going to use it for mp3 play back based on my experince it can easily last 15-20hrs...

So far i've manage to play java games for 2hrs straight on Naite at about 80% LCD brightness. Fom 100% charge it drop to about 85% so do the math may be like 7-8hrs till batt low warning. When calling I manage about 5-6hrs max on GSM network from 100% to batt low waring. Thats Using it for same day. Yeah i use it alot for phone conversations... I have not yet use it for video playback though... Battery performance is outstanding if not being used for heavy phone calls will pretty much last 2-3days.

hi,i just read that you also have 5130xm.so,which one is better on all the fronts.also speaking about individual performance,which one has better sound quality through loudspeaker and which ones loudness output is better.i mean isnt naites loudspeaker's loudness good in quiet environments.also how is naite's bass and treble.

dude my friend has a nokia 2700 and its loundness is nt as loud as naite
speker of 2700 fat tha hai jab full volume kiya jayega
it takes over in sound and in clarity of screen
and also its a larger screen and 3g and video call front camera 2gb memory card
and 2700 cant be expanded 2 more than 2gb 2gb is the mx limit of 270
wht else u want in a 6.5k phone

I just compared the naite n nokia 2700 n here r the observations:
cam-2700 has the better cam n it cn zoom in ful resolution which is nt possible in naite.
Sound-through headphones the naite has a slight edge over the 2700 but through loudspeakers the 2700 wins n also it has a 3.5mm audio jack which the naite lacks.
Web-the inbuilt opera browser of 2700 easily beats the sluggish browser of naite.The main advantage of the naite is that it has 3g which is nt popular in india so its of little use.
Mem.-the naite has 100mb int. n 16gb of xpandable mem.n thus beats the 2700 which has 30mb n 2gb respectivly.
Video rec.-both r almst the same offerin vry bad video rec.
Display of the naite is bettr. But overal the 2700 wins costin a whopping 2.6k lesser n evn the build quality being bettr than the naite.So if u want a cheap music phone the 2700 is the better 1..Cheers..

Hey guys stop fightin n answer this question.Is the sound clarity n loudnes comparable with nokia 2700 n 7210.U guys dnt reply to sum of the imp.questions askd n simply fight on simple issues such as light sensors.Tel me 1 thin do u guys buy cp 4 multimedia n communication or 4 the presence of light sensors n stuf.Plz answer the abov question coz it is very necessary 4 many buyers who wan 3g as wel as decent music capabilities in their phons.So plz guys its ur resposibility to guide thos people n help them make the r8 choice.Compare the naite with nokia 2700 or 7210 in terms of mp3 playbak loudnes n clarity n plz gv the comments as soon as possible.

These are just two examples for the many I have seen. So that far it's correct what I have said. What was wrong indeed however is that I read the SE press release wrong. I was influenced by those many articles the stated it wrongly and didn't read the SE press release carefully enough.
But now everything is clear: The C901 has a light-sensor. The Naite does not have a light-sensor.
