It's still me, does your brown origami animation stutter as well? On mine the motion is not fluid but the animation stops for a moment all the time. Is this normal?

It's me again, forget my link below. It says that the C901 has such a sensor! But somebody here posted it as well. Just search for the word "sensor" here. I start to believe that the 901 has one and the Naite does not have one.

My only issue about the Naite is its battery backup during phone calls. And also the LCD stay lit during phone calls. I think sonyericsson should come-up with another firmware update that shuts down the LCD during phone calls to save battery backup just like mp3 playback the screen is totally shut dark to preserve battery this is a greenheart phone anyway... Calling SonyEricsson Please fix this...

vicky, 02 Feb 2010Hi shivakar please tell me, for good sound quality which... moreHi Vicky, I had the HPM-82 before but is totally not compatible with Naite. I have not use other SonyEricsson earpiece. Except factory supplied. But instead I purchase from 3rd party accessory earphone bought one with a replaceable 3.5mm jack and used Pioneer in-ear plug sounds very nice! You should try it sounds totally Amazing... Since the Naite lack the loudness level , I used in-ear earphone to compensate it. Works fine! loudness issue solved.!

zrx, 02 Feb 2010thanks for the information.i would be grateful to you if yo... moreHi ZRX, i'll try my best to answer your questions, Well Audio quality is different from loudness. The Naite have a very good quality audio but it lacks the loudness found on other phones like Walkman series or Nokia XM. When during music playback I have to set it at MAX level and alot of times its still not enough on noisy environments...

The Camera and video function are pretty decent for a 2.0 megapixel fixed focus. Its picture quality is good enough for file sharing and facebook only. The Video recording is pretty good very smooth and does not chop-up or freeze frame issue unlike Nokia 5130 XM that i also have. Pretty good phone and can run many large Java games because it has more memory built-in.

A very good phone, does everything required with minimum of fuss. I'v have not had any probs with reception and the sound quality is on par with other phones within price range. I think you need to recharge a few times, before you get nearer to spec'd battery life stats - but this is a common trait shared with almost all phones. So far, me likes.

The Naite is a pretty Darn good phone. Very great value for its price tag. Only letdown is battery backup during phone calls, Gets around 6hrs only per 100% charge on same day usage... What I notice during phone calls LCD stay lit during phone calls this definetely affected the battery backup...

Many people here are asking about sound quality and loudness issue. When using this phone as an mp3 player it produce very detailed and linear sound output. Sound quality very decent can compare to other high-end sony phones plus it uses the walkman interface very nice! On Loudness issue it does lack the LOUDness on mp3 playback. I have to always be on MAX level using the supplied earphones during mp3 playback and I tell you its still not enough to satisfy your Groove...But during phone calls its loud both on earplugs and earpiece. Hope sonyericsson comes up with a firmware update to solve issue...

gaurav raj, 05 Feb 2010hi guys i am going to purchase this phone but still i want... moreHi Raj, I own the Natite for a month now. and I mainly use this phone for calls. From my experience battery backup for phone calls is pretty bad... I can't get anywhere near the 13hrs claim.. I get around 5-6hrs max worth of calls on GSM network only at 100% charge and that would pretty send it to Battery Low warning.

If you are not a heavy user on phone call and would use it for SMS and mp3 only it can last upto 3days...

Other users on Naite please post your experience...TIA

I already own a Naite J105i. Fantastic. The high quality experience is not even in relation to its low price but absolute. To help with any confusion: The front lens IS a video camera. The manual clearly states it. Just download it at SE and look. At least in the german language manual it's on page 6.

But I have a question: It has been widely promoted that there's a light sensor for the display brightness. Where exactly is that sensor located at the phone? I look everywehre all the time and can't see it. Further: I can't even see any change in brightness when going from an almost completely dark room into the direct sunlight. Does this feature work on your Naites? And again, where is the sensor?

                                  Many thanks for reading.
