i just bought this phone yesterday (thu 27 jan) for RM795 and so far i'm very happy with it.
+ bright and hi-quality screen (it's SE!)
+ pics quality is good
+ mp3 and sounds are loud and clear
+ all features are well built
+ affordable price
- orange backlight for keypads
- quite hard to use keypads
- small memory compared to k700
- can't turn off camera sound (because they don't want ppl to act like paparazzi)
- poor battery life (but not THAT bad)
recommended: yes!

Well Andy what you just said is true:
I am going to buy the 500 because i just won't give 200 to 300 € for a phone. its not worth it - i mean its a freaking phone, ppls should call you , text you and viceversa; the k500 will be bought by me in 2- 6 days from now :)

good phone i got this 4 my b-day and iam 13 its a good fone if u dont want bluetooth the camera is fuzzy but the pics r good.somthimes it gets stusck its slow but I LOVE IT ITS FANTASTIC PHOME

reception is good to best
pix are very nice taken
video is pretty fuzzy, but it's a phone
sound recorder is nice too
battery is pretty bad, but it's what chargers are for
camera sound is disabled in silence mode
worth the money

does k508i have the same problems as k500i such as wearing silver colours near the screen, loud camera sound, etc?

hi. want to know about the reception qualities of the k500i. is it worse/better/equal to nokia. how good are the pics, video, sound recorder compared to other phones.

at the onset picture quality is a little bit dissapointing, they should have included an FM radio instead of the pseudo mp3 capability and, you can't turn off the shutter sound! regardless, it's a great fone considering the price..bought mine at around 160 USD..hehehe..

the phone is quite good,i have no complaines but the signal fluctuates but i tend to believe that is from the local network.overall...a good phone for less money.enjoy it!

i reckon dis fone is relly good!!!! it has all da standard features plus alot more. i really like da design its gota video cam. though id rather get the k700i which is a bit beta!!!
