i've had this phone for about a month and loving it...but one problem that bothers me is that you have to press REALLY hard on the 9 key for it to work...but other than that...love this phone

hey
i recently got this phone but im having a problem with it. i tried to transfer an image from my pc on2 the phone. after installing the software and connecting the USB cable, i transferred a pic but its nowhere 2 be seen on my phone! but wen i connect my USB my pics r shown on my PC. where r they on the phone. can anyone help? thanks.

i dont like this phone..... like k500i i use before...not a new phone.bad design... joystick phone....i dont like it... mail me if you got what question for all brand and type of phone...i am a expect

I think it is the best phone in such a low price. I bought it for Rs. 7800 from Pakistan. When compared from Nokia 6230i it has almost the same features except the memory card. It can be used with PC as a USB Mass storage device having memory of 27.2 MB. However the phone’s total memory is 30 MB (including all preset stuff which deletable). It has 262K colour screen. While playing video clips it has the option of Horizontal view (i.e. u can view videos and pictures in full screen mode just like Computer screen). The phone is capable of playing 3GPP and MPEG4 video files. In audio the phone show a pretty good performance. It supports MIDI, AMR, MP3 ,M4A and WAV files (cannot play AAC files). The camera quality is also superb. It also has Remote control using BLUETOOTH. It has IrDA port as well. The media player can run in minimized mode and u can control the volume even if keypad is locked. The sound recorder can record during a call. The battery life is about 48 hours when u use GPRS for 30-40 min, Media player for 1.5-2.0 hrs, 10-15 min for calls, watching video clips for 20 min and using other functions for 30 minutes (during which backlight remains ON).

01.K510i has got TFT display with 256K quality and 128X160 pixel. Yes it is a little pixelated (require appropriate theme to solve it). But it is far far far superior than Nokia 6070 display (STN/65K). The memory of K510i is 8 times more than 6070.
02.The camera of K510i is 1.3 Mega pixel (considered the best in the market now,even better than samsung X700, 6230i etc) but 6070 has got a VGA camera.
03.K510i has got Bluetooth but 6070 lacks it.
04.Ringtone and music quality is also better in K510i than in 6070.
05.Reagarding key pad nokia phone is better than SE, no doubt.
But if u consider all above parameters........and i think u r not a nokia fan-boy and.......your wise........|

the soft keys are HHHHHAAAAAARRRRRDDDDDD.....!!!!
the phone is great just that the over-all screen seems a little too pixelized... and the backlight of the keys are so ugly!!!

Hi! I have K510i and I also have a small problem with the sleep mode clock : it can't be seen (you hardly can see it) and this way is useless.
Is anything wrong with my phone or is a software bug? Also ... the screensaver stops after ~10 seconds. I know that it must save the battery life ... but it should my option, isn't it?

I am using this phone about last 2 months. the soung quality of speakers is good and in ear phone sound quality is quality is excellent. keypad is comfortable for typing sms. nad display is very good. Overall its a nice phone.

Is the keypad not nice for sms typing? How is the display? And battery life?
Someone has changed from K510i to Nokia 6070 because of bad keypad and display.
Any opinion?

Yes you can, you can also use wav files as ringtones, both for melodies and sms tones.
