No man K630 differ from K530 in very far apart.it is not a similar phone.The similar phone of K530 is W880,W660,K610,K618.

This beautiful sonyericsson K530i contain 3G(third generation high speed mobile internet)which connect at the maximum speed of (384KB/S).When your country has 3G service.If your country does not have 3G,no problem this K530i has GPRS which connect at the maximum speed of 115.5KB/S which mainly depends on your service provider.this phone contain 3D game only which gives you real gaming experience.eg, the pre install game off sonyericsson k530i is "investigator" and"tennis multiplay" which is realy like computer 3D game.the actual internal memeory is 24MB but it may be change due to the pre-install softwares.the pre-install softwares are "accu-weather"which worths $50 and "audible player.the camera quality is can you guess.....It is not 0.3MP{vga) like w300,w200,z530 and it is also not 1MP like nokia 7610and it is also not 1.3MP like nokia 6630,6680,6600 and finally the camera is 2MEGAPIXEL camera which is best in clarity,ability video recordings,zooming,photofun with animations etc......It has music player with the stereo effect clearly.this phone pre install with 'adobe flash lite 1.1' which give us great animation on display.You should know that this is the only phone which play music clearly and louder than Nokia N95 and other N series phone,if not you can also refer the below user opinion on comparision with N95 on sound and stability.This beautiful phone play music on the format of 3GP,mp4,amr,mp3,aac,wav,m4a,etc......this phone also contain video call camera at front (vga camera)used for direct talking by seeing the reciever's(dialled also) face through 3G network.this phone battery perfomance is very nice that exceeding nokia N-series.this phone works on JAVA like(symbian in nokia)the JAVA is in the format of J2ME and JAVAMIDP.this phone comes under the JAVA 7th platform,which works more faster than nokia.this phone processor speed exceeding nokia.you can see the great sony ericsson phone like W880,W660,k610,K618 having the same facility in all fields like cam,secondary cam,sound,memory,connectivity etc.On the over all K530 is the superb phone(if not u can compare w880,w660,k610,k618 with K530) also within budget while the phone like K880 is costlier one but having similar facility like K530.The screen is very clear which is TFT display.it has radio with RDS.This phone won't break if you kept it down for many times.further in this phone you can also add or download software.it's memory is expandable with "M2"card .this phone won't hang at the middle but nokia hang at the middle,some times nokia will took more time for opening an applications also(like opening the song).but this phone won't hang at the middle.it will also gives you quick access for opening an application.further this phone contain bluetooth.this phone also acts like a modem for your pc to view internet fastly.finally,this is the super phone like mini computer which works beyond nokia N95 in sound fields.This K530i is the beautiful,superior,superb phone in the world of phone in the middle.it is the best phone in the world in all aspects.it has direct email option also.It is also a budget 3G phone.K530 ics the best phone for me in this costlier world.

what ever false thing told about K530 against K550,finally K530 is the winner due to its great feature, perfomance,3G etc .K530 always rocks.

okay pls dont bully k530.
k530 is another gr8 device by SE to let someone experience 3g at a considerably affordable cost. k550 and k530 are different market. k530 is for country that 3G is already capable such as Europe. it wont do any good in Eastern world.
K550 is good in its term also. both k530 and k550 are not to be compared or to compete. it just like asking a Japanese phone to roam and be usable outside japan, asking i-mode enabled handsets to access homepages freely, or asking a European handsets to write Chinese without any mods.
If one of k550 or k530 r bad, k850 wont combine both capabilities.... oh wait k850 is already 3.5G no more 3G UMTS :)
for those with higher budget around $50, i would recommend advancing to k630 since its already 3.5G HSDPA.
battery life might be lower, but that's depends, unless u got stopwatch with u and quite free enough to have time to count it everyday. i don't trust benchmark though. Let wikipedia be your only rational source.

Samsung J200 is 3g and cheaper at $100..
why bother looking for k530?
more polyphonic channels at 64 and larger memory @ 40mb... microsd up2 4gig man.
so go get J200!

K530 has 3g which is most advance than edge.if there is 3g then the edge is not necessary.
You should see cam capability at megapixel which is universally constant this phone has 2mp ,very nice cam were lens is scratch proof

i was thinking 2 buy dis fon til i read dis line from da review

The arrange ment of model number did not based on feature,it is based only on pronounciation.
(Eg k550 and k750 has samd facility but k550 additionaly having edge,but the model number is lower than k750)
