This fone has a flight mode also. Its a very good fone for its price. Its 2MP camera (with flash) is great. And it supports all the technologies like bluetooth, infrared, EDGE etc., great fone

@ad07 - I actually own both the W810i and the K550i. The W810i is slightly better in my opinion. Anyway in the K550i box you get the phone, battery, USB cable, Handsfree, Charger, manual, CD and thats about it. The handsfree on this is bog standard in earphones attached to the dongle. The W810i is equal to the K550i in all hardware aspects but comes with the in ear bud type earphones but the dongle has a standard 3.5mm socket in it.
@Wada - No it does not come with a Memory Stick and it uses the new M2 style of Memory Stick.
@Anonymous - The camera on my W810i has always been perfect (for a phone camera).
@soumya - Go to a shop and ask to try them both then make your own mind up.

hi! im planning to buy this phone soon rather than sew810 (coz i dont like its orange illumination). so could anyone tell me whats inside its package? like does it have headsets that can be connected to stereo outputs, a memory card (how large its mb size?) and other stuffs. i hope i will be making a good decision and its worth buying for. thanx!!!

quick question. why does my camera on the w810 suck, never comes out clear. i know the k550 has the same mp, but is clearer. i love my w810, but the camera is the only reason i might something else

Stil Qcif, so in terms of video quality, forget it. It's mainly for still photos only. Records only in 3gp format. If you're lookin for real high quality video recording, then go for the more expensive nokia camfones. If you got some cash to burn.

Yup. This fone has a flight mode feature. Certainly. Good thing it's not joystick. Joystick is good for navigating but wears down easily. And I don't want to suffer from joystick problems. Still workin on getting accustomed with the small keypads. Well iMode i think is a web surfin software which is made available only to the k550im model.

Got this phone yesterday. It's a great phone for its price. Got a good photolight that doubles as flash once you capture pics. *now i know* Got 80mb internal mem plus stick micro 64mb. Audio player is good but it doesnt matter to me anyway coz i got creative vidz, so i'm using this phne mainly as camera. keypads seemed to be durable but takes time to get used to. Love the camera shutter, good protection for the lens.

hey sam,
750i rarely hangs and this phone i.e. 550i has EDGE. so i don't think it will ever hang.

i don't think the difference in camera quality between k550i and the old k750 is such a big deal.. i'll personally get k550i, it comes with the latest softwares, it doesn't have JOYSTICK! (w/c breaks down easily) it's SLIM and a great deal, the price is just right.

Why would you say tht k750 is better?it terms of camera quality,sound produced and the size of the phone....i think k550 has beatan k750 flat...but i heard rumours saying that k550 was produced to replace k750.....
NOTE:can anyone tell me will this phone hang??

naveed: sony ericsson k550i is a very good set his camera result is very good compare to other phones also have a memory card and it is a small in size and also have audio and video option so this is a very good set of their good functions.

Hi e.k.!
i think you should go for the K550 if you are after the camera quality, else go to the W810 it's got same good camera and great music quality but bear in mind W810 lacks camera cover/shutter so the dust speckles will affect the picture quality the W810 renders. K550 is the safer choice as the lens is protected and the sound quality is good and at par with W800.you'll be having a good choice in wither of the two but choose what suits you most.

Hi, i am planning to get either this mobile or w810. which takes better quality pics? is k550 as good as k750 in quality? how's its sound quality, and dows it compare to w810? and another thing.. is it easily connected and accesed by a pc? thanks
